I'm anxious to check out the rebellion side of things and talk to Ulfric Stormcrow. The beginning of the game made it sound like he's a Dragonborn as well or at least has the ability to use Thu'uns as well, which is definitely intriguing.

So far, though, I've been trying to finish up what quests I can in Whiterun before I go gallivanting off to another city. Becoming the Thane after killing the first dragon is REALLY cool. That's a VERY cool story plot. They definitely seemed to have learned how to write better dialog and such.

I may have to go back and make myself a really nice shield so I can work on getting blocking up more (currently at 40 something) cause I got bored of sword and board and went back to dual wielding one-handed weapons.

As for the mages and such, it is definitely interesting that they've been wiped out. There seems to be quite a bit of hate toward the mages in Skyrim and it seems like they are almost being blamed for the Oblivion Crisis, even though it was clearly the Mythic Dawn cult who caused all of that. Maybe they are connecting necromancers with the Mythic Dawn or something? I'm not sure, but there is definitely a lot of hate for mages in Skyrim.
