So far, it's interesting, though I haven't really delved much into the main quest yet (haven't even went to the Greybeards yet). I read in one of the reviews of the game that the main quest is only ~2 hours long, which seems completely wrong to me. I did just small parts of the beginning of the main quest, and it took me ~1 1/2 hours to do that. No way it's that short.
As for the story so far, it's definitely better than the whole bullshit with Oblivion. That stuff was so horribly written, it was atrocious. At least, with this, it's semi-interesting. I'm anxious to check out the rebellion side of things and talk to Ulfric Stormcrow. The beginning of the game made it sound like he's a Dragonborn as well or at least has the ability to use Thu'uns as well, which is definitely intriguing.
So far, though, I've been trying to finish up what quests I can in Whiterun before I go gallivanting off to another city. Becoming the Thane after killing the first dragon is REALLY cool. That's a VERY cool story plot. They definitely seemed to have learned how to write better dialog and such.
Yeah. I've seen that bug. It happens sometimes when you get hit by them like that as well. It's silly, but definitely makes you feel ridiculous underpowered when fighting them.
As for killing one of them, I haven't even tried as I've seen videos of people getting destroyed by them so I figured I'd steer clear of them for now.
Yeah, I found that earlier myself. Nothing really all that groundbreaking yet, which is to be expected considering they haven't released the Skyrim Construction Set yet. Those are only going to be the tip of the iceberg once the SCS gets released.
