PlayStation fans can once again catch the E3 Experience 2015 live in theaters on the evening of Monday, June 15. The Sony E3 press conference will be shown in theaters in all 50 states and Canada. (A list of theaters can be found here.) The presentation begins at 6 PM PT and concludes with a 30-minute post-show hosted by Geoff Keighley featuring additional game previews and developer interviews.

Tickets for the event are free and can be attained by signing-up at playstation.com/e3experience starting at 9 AM PT on Wednesday, May 27.

Fans will also take home a special PlayStation surprise consisting of PlayStation goods and digital codes. (Last year attendees received early access to the Destiny Alpha and Battlefield: Hardline beta, along with a poster and VIP laminate.) Those unable to attend can also watch the event on their PS4 & PS3 via the Live Events Viewer app.

In a unique but welcome strategy, fans who pre-order NBA 2K16 from participating North American retailers will receive the game Friday, September 25 - four days before the street date of September 29. Along with getting the game before the general public, pre-orders will also receive 10,000 VC and a select MyTeam package. (Click here to pre-order from Amazon.)

The Early Tip-Off Weekend (as NBA 2K bills it) appears to have two primary goals. First, it is a counter to EA Access in allowing fans to play the game before street date, this time without an hourly or feature limit. Second, it is an enticing pre-order bonus for those who may be on proverbial fence (for several reasons) but will be unable to wait on buying once they see friends and acquaintances with the title.

UK game retailer GAME is offering a special edition of Rory McIlroy PGA TOUR. For £49.99, fans will receive an EA SPORTS umbrella with their copy of the game. This special edition is listed as a GAME exclusive, but it is unknown if this is a global or country exclusive perk. An attempt to get clarification from EA SPORTS was unsuccessful.

As the NBA playoffs advance through the conference finals, the latest NBA LIVE 15 roster and ratings update is now available.

Highlighted in the blog from EA SPORTS, Cleveland guard JR Smith's play this post-season has helped him increase his overall rating by a point to an 81. Several big games, including 12 points and eight rebounds in an elimination game versus the Bulls have helped the Cavs reach the Eastern finals.

Following yet another elimination at the hands of LeBron James' squad, the Bulls' Joakim Noah and five teammates each saw their overall rating decrease by a point. Noah averaged just five points per game in the series on 33% shooting.

This NBA LIVE 15 roster update includes more than 1,200 ratings changes and 11 player accessory updates and also resets the recently eliminated Bulls, Wizards, Clippers and Grizzlies to their "prime" lineups. ...

The NHL 16 official product site has published the game's feature set.

Among the highlights are a new EA SPORTS Hockey League, full 6 vs. 6 Online Team Play, improvements to Be a GM and Be a Pro mode, and presentation improvements to make the game more immersive. These features apply only to the PS4 & XB1 versions of the game. (There will be a 'legacy' version of NHL for PS3 & 360 owners.) The blog from EA SPORTS highlights the performance of two players: The Grizzlies' Zach Randolph and the Cavaliers' Tristan Thompson.

As the Grizzlies have given the top-seeded Warriors difficulties in their conference semi-final match-up, Randolph has scored twenty or more points in three games. His strong play has helped him receive a one-point increase in his overall rating to 86.

The Cavs have rallied to take a 3-2 lead on the Bulls, in part due to the play of Thompson. Filling in for an injured Kevin Love, Thompson has averaged just under nine points and 10 rebounds per game. His overall rating also improves by one point to 78. ...

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. has won the Madden NFL 16 cover vote. The talented wideout burst onto the scene following a superb one-handed catch last season versus the Dallas Cowboys. He defeated Pats TE Rob Gronkowski in the finals following the elimitaion of the Cardinals Patrick Peterson and the Steelers Antonio Brown.


Amazon has posted additional game info and feature descriptions for Madden NFL 16. As expected from GameStop's earlier posting, the game will feature new controls and QB mechanics as well as new WR/DB interactions.

The Madden NFL 16 cover vote has reached their two finalists: New England TE Rob Gronkowski and NY Giants WR Odell Beckham, Jr.

The final round of voting takes place on Wednesday, May 13 beginning at 9 AM ET and ending at 5 PM ET with the winner announced on the 6 PM edition of SportsCenter. Gronk & OBJ will be taking part in the ESPN 'car wash,' appearing in various network shows throughout the day to make their case and appeal for votes. To vote, visit espn.com.
