I just fuckin' did it with Donald Driver and I've never been able to get a rocket catch to work before and I just did it for the hell of it to see if it would work and lo and behold, it works the first time I try it.

You people are nuts if you think this game is better than NCAA. Running the stretch play is pointless (unlike NCAA). The trajectory on the ball is not different at all (same throw that gets swatted in NCAA just got swatted in demo). Zone blocking utterly atrocious. All of this on default All-American.
