As I said before, do you really believe or think Sony would make massive, expensive upgrades to the PS4 (at a potential loss again like with the PS3) and sell it for a semi-reasonably low price if they were the only console in town? Hell no. They could go cheap with the parts, no make the big leap in technology and keep the price jacked up, because hey, who's going to stop them other than PCs?

Like I asked a couple days or week or two ago, are there was bunch of wars between people regarding brands of TVs? Brands of DVD and Blu-ray players? DVDs vs. Blu-ray itself? Brands of refrigerators? I have never understood why there is always this "us vs. them" with game consoles and how other people constantly try to force you to declare your allegiance to one or the other. It's just utter stupidity. It's called you buy what you want and be happy. I'll buy what I want and be happy. And we'll leave it at that.
Personally, I'm still undecided. Right now if you'd ask me, I'd probably go PS4 at launch and then get the One when Titanfall comes out, however, that's always subject to change. I certainly don't wish for one of these guys to do so horribly that they exit the console wars. My friends are all major Sony supporters, and I've been telling them this for weeks: if Microsoft doesn't exist, there is ZERO chance the PS4 costs $399. If Microsoft didn't exist and if Microsoft didn't rip away nearly half of Sony's consumer base with the 360, we're getting a $500 or $600 PS4...guaranteed.
