Yeah those interactions definitely are going to add a whole new dynamic to this battle.

I found it interesting that the glock was on the end of the table, but for the 2nd half of this "long" conversation between Rick and the Governor, he sat at the side of the table. Not really a spot for a quick reach. Not quick enough for Rick to draw out of his holster at least. There seems to be some sort of weird mutual respect between Rick and the Governor.

I attribute the Gov's actions to being because he's political in his actions and approaches, whereas Rick is the bull in the china shop....he'll throw down then and there. I think Gov recognizes that so he's not going to battle him straight up.....he'll do it by lying, by ambush, by conniving methods versus just squaring off......and Rick senses that as well, given that he doesn't disarm and lets Gov do all the talking......because talkers eventually can't stop themselves from revealing info whereas fighters stay quiet and observe......JMO......
