Wow what an AWFUL year for me in the whoring department. Jeff continues to allow me to THINK I am going to surpass him only to either come in with a late surge at the end of the month OR regain the spot the very next month.

Well I have now passed 900 (901 right now). If it weren't for this forum/trophy whoring; GameFly and PS+ I'd probably never had played 1/2 of the games I currently play

Yeah I have more free time now after my recent lay off from work. I'm still working part-time but I'm now in the process of trying to decide if I want to stay in law or make a career change. I'm leaning towards the latter but we shall see.

First: Ouch, sorry dude.

Second: Actually, I'm more amazed that you can gain % that quickly. Once you hit Level 12, it slows down considerably, and I just didn't realize you could gain that much without a platinum.

I was anticipating the layoff would come at the end of the year beginning last summer so it didn't come up as a complete shock when it happened and the wife and I saved up nearly a year's worth of my salary for a emergency fund / down payment on our 1st home when/if we decided to buy so we are fine. We had been talking for years about me getting out of the practice of law (due to my unhappiness with the job/"profession") and were planning on me transitioning once she finished her fellowship and started her "big girl job" which is in a little over 2 years now so the question is do I try to find a job for two years or just transition now.

Allot of my recent trophies have been of the gold/silver variety but I too was surprised how quickly the % went up.

Yeah the story is REALLY good IMHO. Most Rockstar games I just cannot get into but this one I did perhaps b/c it relies on more on patience/detective work rather than just shooting up everything in site. Right now I'm in "clean up" phase I think I just need to roam around the city and find all the cars and film reels and maybe a few other "odd" trophies I missed during my play through.

Yeah lots of people shunned it because of the slow detective work. I loved it.

I know its just a good "month" for Violator and some of you guys passed this mark a LONG time ago but I just hit #1000. The "lucky" trophy was create a player and start a FIFA career.
