MLB 2K12, just came out last Tuesday, $59.99 for PS3/360, $29.99 for PC on Steam. Highest priced PC game I've seen on Steam is $49.99. If console prices reach $70 or higher in the future, console gaming for me will be all but dead except for the very few handful of games that would be meet my levels of expectations and have sky high replay values, and it'll be almost nothing but PC from then on.
PC, in the long run, is definitely the cheapest option with Steam and Amazon sells frequently DESTROYING the prices of these games normal retail wise.
