All for a new GTA but not for it being in LA. We just had LA in LA Noire and of course San Andreas. Chicago would have been a great city as it has plenty of corruption and mafia ties.

A week old and might have already been mentioned

THQ says goodbye to MX vs ATV series.

You know I have to feel real bad for THQ who spent a bunch of money to put Bubba Stewart on the cover and then release only a couple of supercross tracks (Bubbas compund and there might have been another. They definitely did not live up to their end on the DLC. Everything is helmets and graphic kits.

Man I am glad I did not purchase this travesty.

Seemed like there was a new game out every other month too.

So do you guy think this will keep me busy until Elder Scrolls V Skyrim hits?

Just ordered from Amazon: Fallout 3 GOTY Edition which comes with all the DLC, Fallout New Vegas and the 5th year anniversary Oblivion game.

I love my open world games and even pre ordered Dead Island while I was at it.

I toyed around with Oblivion and Fallout 3 but never had the time and quit playing non-sports games for awhile. Now I have more free time so I figured I would give them another go.

I sunk 300+ hours on Oblivion after I picked it up on release day. Insane.

Playin some Mafia II right now. I'm about 30% through. It's fun but i wouldnt rank it as high as Saints Row. Yes, I love the Saints Row games. GTA? Nah, no thank you.

Mafia 2 was really disappointing due to the "open world" being "really closed." The first few chapters in the winter were really nice in regards to the atmosphere.

Never cared for the Saints Row games. Tried to like them but the screen tearing (something really bad in most THQ games) gave me headaches. I might try Saints Row 3 but I prefer games with a cover system. If Just Cause 2 had a cover system I would still be playing it due to gargantuan world and the grappling hook was fun to play with.

Yeah, I still need to finish Just Cause 2. The world is so damn big, I feel like I could play for the next decade and never get done with it.

I need to get Fallout 3: GOTY one of these days, mainly because of how much of the game takes place in the DC-area. But I've got so much else to play already ...

Another game I just purchased is Toy Soldiers: Cold War (XBL Only). Great sequel and I can spend hours just playing the mini games and going to your weapon collection where you can try out all the weapons in the game.

I'm really looking forward to Crimson Alliance. I think it comes out within the next week or so. I was going to get TS: Cold War, but I wasn't a fan of the original TS. It wasn't bad, I just had a hard time keeping focused on it.

Ms. Splosion Man Pinball FX2 table comes out next Wednesday for 240MSP. I'm all over this, it looks like the best table yet.

One of the best open world games I have ever played.

Just tried out the Warhammer 40K Space Marine demo. I had a blast with it. As weird as it sounds, it's a shooter/melee 3rd person game and it feels an awful like God of War and Gears of War had a baby, and it's fun as hell. The shooting mechanics and player movement are almost exactly like Gears, while the melee system feels like God of War to me. It also has a jetpack level where you can launch yourself up in the air, and then power bomb a bunch of enemies all at once. Pretty sweet.

It went from a possible $20 title to a day one purchase if it has competitive multiplayer.

I downloaded it yesterday and didn'[t get around to playing it, is it even out yet?
