It's all about him going around the rules for the supplemental draft. That's why he's getting suspended for 5 games with no practice or pay.

Could you elaborate on this? I'm not sure exactly how he's "going around the rules". He won't play or be able to practice for the first 5 games, but he will still get paid? The NFL is basically setting a precedent that they can collude with the NCAA to suspend players for arbitrary reasons. If this is how it's going to be, the NFL just needs to start a minor league. Maybe it will end this crap.
