I guess since he did it with The Crow, he could blatantly rip off Heath Ledger's Joker?

I think Sting stays up late watching movies on TNT for ideas for his wrestling persona.

I hate to tell him but The Joker gimmick doesn't suit him one bit. He comes across very cheesy and plain out stupid IMO.

What is up with the WWE using NFL Films music in a lot of their recap/highlight videos lately? It adds a ... self-important, pretentious, feel to it.

Sting lol. Shoulda retired a long time ago. I never really did like him. I didin't watch WCW much when he was surfer Sting tho I have watched on youtube. Last one I watched was Sting vs poor Mr. Rude in Japan.

Sting's my all-time favorite wrestler, but even I'll agree that he should have stayed retired after WCW was sold.

They started doing that a couple years ago around Wrestlemania time, I don't have a problem with it. I like it.

Sting now looks like the cheesiest, most retarded wrestler ever. How unoriginal can you be? The Crow schtick was cool to me. He should have just stuck with that.

    Thumbs up

I would love to be on the front row for this event. Just about every wrestling old timer will be in action. You know that this will be a trainwreck of a PPV. I would still love to be there just to see the wrestlers I grew up watching perform one more time.

    August 12th: Legends and Icons.

    2. The Rock N Roll Express Vs The Headbangers

    3. Bob Backlund Vs Ken Patera “The Olympic Strongman”

    4. Memphis Madness 4 way Match featuring KoKo B. Ware Vs Kamala Vs Jerry “The King” Lawler Vs Dutch Mantell!

    5. Tracy Smothers vs. Wildfire Tommy Rich – First Time Ever!

    6) Raven Vs Al Snow Vs Rhino Vs Balls Mahoney Vs Shane Douglas Vs ????(Mystery Competitor)

    7) Rikishi and Brian Christopher (Too Cool) Vs The Powers Of Pain!

    8) 10 Man “Eliminations For Generations” Battle Royal Rumble Match.
    Participants:

    Hacksaw Jim Duggan
    Tony Atlas
    Honky Tonk Man
    Carlito
    Superfly Jimmy Snuka
    "Big Daddy V" Viscera
    Rob Conway
    Zach Gowen
    Ronnie Garvin "Hands of Stone"

The problem, for me, with a card like that is that it would have been awesome ... 10 or more years ago. Today -- I'm just not sure I'd enjoy it. Between the wrestlers themselves getting older, and myself growing beyond the point that any piece of a Mark is gone from me ...

what would make this match awesome if the mystery competitor was Taz. Loved Taz from his ECW days. Or maybe Sabu would make that great also.

I don't think they would list Sabu as a "mystery competitor" though. It has to be someone big I'd think.

Summerslam was a complete blast. On Saturday got to personally meet Alex Riley, Zack Ryder, and Randy Orton as they each came down to our conference room where we were playing WWE '12.
