If you go solely by adding up the numerical ratings for Overall, Offense, and Defense based on my numbers from the game, the top five teams are:
    1. Oklahoma (294)
    2. Alabama (292)
    3. Stanford (283)
    4. Oregon (283)
    5. Ohio State (283)

And the bottom five teams are:
    • New Mexico State (197)
    • San Jose State (190)
    • Eastern Michigan (189)
    • Buffalo (188)
    • Akron (181)

if you want to go that far...how about a game where the teams are who Phil Steele says is first and last and a game where its who EA says is first and last with the user using the weaker teams

I'm completely the opposite. I encourage everyone to spread out and take their own conference actually. But I also don't allow my users to take the elite teams so it's too easy for them and everyone is going undefeated every year.

I like those kinds of dynasty's makes for a exciting off season with all the bowl game match ups! Plus you can always have OOC games against other users.

You sir are officially weird. Whats the point of a multi-player dynasty if no one is playing anyone ?

I was in a dynasty that way last year. Had to schedule at least 2 human non conference games and we ended up with several h2h bowl matchups.

Since the patch is out, can y'all say if it's global editing or is it individual editing? Any chance of getting a video and/or screens of it?

I'm with you on this one. I hate OD's that are only one or two games vs users a year. Give me as many user games as possible. If I wanted to play the cpu, then I would just play an offline dynasty.

I am not that good, but playing another person is the only way to get to see different animations and different outcomes to plays that wouldnt happen against AI. Every year online I've seen plays that only got to see that one time and never again because of the spontaneous actions of both people.

Well personally I never played much versus in this game, or Madden, in the past before of the known delay issues and then when OD came I still wanted to get into the action. To be honest I don't find it fun unless I'm competing against others, like I don't find offline dynasty that much fun, that's just me personally though. I suppose this style only works if your not particularly skilled at the game and use to exploiting the computer, for example like me, I don't just rape the computer like most would and go undefeated every year. I actually struggle and even lose on All American sometimes and I definitely struggle and lose a lot vs the elite teams. Like I said I don't allow users to pick the elite teams that way at least some of the computer match ups are very challenging.

It's still a fun dynasty, if your like-minded and similarly skilled. The team management and team building side of it is my favorite part of the game. I honestly take hour(s) at the beginning of the year to select my recruits because I touch all bases and really prospect them. The battling for recruits is ultimately what makes NCAA Football fun for me and like osufan4life said the bowl games are that much more important and harder because if you do get matched up against someone you don't really know what to expect.

    +1
The OD that I was referring to had a wide range of skill levels so the guys who often lost to the cpu had the higher tier teams while the more dominant guys got the 1-2 star schools. Plus we had a couple of teams in the same conferences so with that and the OOC and bowl games we still had a good portion of h2h matchups.

Yeah for example my friend and I always have closely contested games and for the most part no problems on the EA servers with delay/lag so we joined the same conference and we had met two other friends and they choose a different conference. My bro was in his own, MWC, and we had two others each with their own. If it got to be too easy and we saw player teams going undefeated every year we would just ask those players to leave. I'm not saying you can't go undefeated and win a national championship but to be doing it every year is a little ridiculous because it obviously wasn't a challenge for them then. To be honest I never got ranked high enough to even play for a BCS Championship because I was losing anywhere from 2-5 games a year. Which I liked because that's how it is usually. Very few teams actually go undefeated. The computer matches wasn't a problem for the most part it just takes good matching with players who are similarly skilled. Obviously if you play in a dynasty with the guys who play tons of ranked matches and really delve into what plays are money and what not then they'll just crush the computer. I try to get casual people who really take recruiting serious and are not focused on user vs user competition as much because not only would they just crush me but usually those types of guys don't care about recruiting and just grab anyone that's interested in them and just zip through it each week to get back to their next game. Which is fine if that's what you like to do but I look forward to the recruiting more then my next game and I'll always be like that. If they ever take out the recruiting I won't buy these games anymore, even if the gameplay is realistic and awesome it's the recruiting that keeps me coming back.

The RPG-elements with building your team up, manage your players and watching them progress, all that team management stuff is the side of the dynasty that I like about NCAA Football. Madden's online franchise doesn't have that and I haven't bought it in years because of that reason alone, even if I'm a huge NFL fan, but this year I might buy it depending on what we here later this month about online franchise, is it going to include all the upgrades to franchise mode or just be half assed again.

....I take like 5-10 minutes, its a video game, you cant really make a mistake, none of the players are going to suck ..sure, something might be a bruiser or a speedster, but everything outside the field is fodder.....IMO

I'm with Cipher. I spend hours on recruiting on a regular basis.

And yes, in the long-term you probably can recover from mistakes you make. You can certainly make mistakes in a recruiting-competitive OD, and those mistakes can cost you for a very long time. You'll eventually recover, but mistakes can still be big.

I'm trying to edit clips appropriately to be played for WVU's entrance in the game, but I don't have a reference.

Could I please have one of you guys record WVU's entrance in it's entirety? Thank you very much in advance!

Can someone get some more screen shots of temple?

To continue the talks about how you like to play. I only play by my self. I have two kids and a 10 hour a day job. I really don't have time to be in a good online dynasty because I can only play when both kids are sleeping and most of the time the wife is sleeping also. Another thing is I have played online before and 9 times out of 10 it's some idiot that has no idea how to manage a game much less run the damn football. With my varied schedule and precious time to actually enjoy some herb, some buds, throw in a chew, and get some gaming in I will do it when ever I feel like it. I have no problem setting up sliders that give me a challenge or choosing plays that produce realistic results. IMO all those who have to have another human playing to enjoy a video game is weird. Maybe when you have 2 kids hanging off your legs and a woman in your ass about mowing, trash, oil changes, diaper changes, bills, ect you too will enjoy the solitude. Lol.

Yeah I'm firing up the 360 version for the first time, so after I do my 2-day online trial I'll do a few.
