I think three star recruits are jus fine some turn into studs and others don't. I will say though some of them take a little more user attention than others some of my favorite players have been three stars on the game. They have actually played better than some 5 stars.
oweb, he's talking about NCAA 12 and if anything has changed from 11. 3-star players, by and large, weren't competitive in NCAA 11.

Correct. Basically what I am saying is that 3 star recruits in real life are sometimes just as good as 4 stars and sometimes even 5 stars, just they are lacking in one area such as like height or weight. Alot of 3 stars are just under-rated in real life I believe. I was just wondering if they were a little better in the game than they were last year because last year IMO they came in looking like 2 stars, some werent even good enough to get any playing time at all!
hester, it's going to take a lot more comparison for me to really be able to answer your question ... but on first glance, the 3-stars at least look better. There was one notable CB on TCU's board that was a 3-star ... he had much better than average SPD/AGI/ACC, which was one of the big problems with 3-star prospects last year at skill positions, but lacked in the MCV/ZCV area. I think that's what you would generally expect from a 3-star in real life, so it's at least promising.

I didn't notice in 11 and haven't seen it asked/answered but are the appropriate logos showing up on schools jerseys when they change conferences? What about home field conference logos?
When you consider how ornery some schools seem to get about their uniform details in the game, it'd be real difficult to--for example--convince Texas that it should be okay for their uniforms to have a Pac-12 patch on them because some video gamer wanted them to leave the Big 12.![]()
If you upload a teambuilder team into an offline dynasty are you still required to replace a team or can you simply add them to a conference now? Also if you can simply add them without removing them does that teambuilder team have 0 existing school records? Thanks for the info guys!
nvm

Any word on recruiting difficulty compared to last year? I really liked Heisman and will probably use it again in 12.
Is job security editable in the coach edit menu? I know prestige is, but I haven't heard much about job security. Thanks in advance.
From my understanding there are certain set job security when starting out a new contract. 47%-57% or something like that. I don't see why as a coach you should be able to change that cuz it's the school thing. Now Coach Prestige I can see being able to change cuz that's not to do with the school but the coach.
Since real coaches are now being included in most named rosters, I think it would be even better to set who is and isn't on the hot seat. Again, starting job security might be randomized and can't be touched, but I am always for more options, especially when it comes to editing.
It depends on who you were trying to compete withIn previous years, you could take a servicable 3-star and have him grow into a decent starter for a top-tier team -- a team that would normally be getting 4- and 5-star players. That didn't happen last year. I took on a heavy amount of 3-star players in my first season, and I suffered for it. They all started low in OVR and progressed horribly.
He means from outside the dynasty, when you're setting up rosters.
Everyone starts at nearly the same point. Head Coaches are all in the 56-58% range, and coordinators are somewhere in the 40-46% range, I think, I can't remember their exact range. I agree that for realism it would be nice to be able to edit it, but with how heavily it fluctuates in even one season, I'm actually glad everyone starts out evenly.
