Just to play devil's advocate, I believe both strafe and pitch are customizable.

Not really sure where you're going with that. What button would you re-assign pitch to in order to avoid accidentally pitching after an interception? Maybe R1? I guess that would be viable, so that way if you were hitting strafe and then got a pick it would protect the ball instead of pitching it.

Even so, there's no real reason to change it from the way it worked prior to '11.
