the fact is you are an intellectual moron if you're worried about a guy holding up a number 1 finger while running to the endzone. Its politically correct pussies always getting in the way of common sense haha

I am ashamed to say that I have now completed 4 full games on AA and haven't beaten the CPU once. In fact I have been blown out twice. I am going to capture my next game and put it up asap. Hopefully it's a win finally!

That's nothing to be ashamed of man. Maybe finally the CPU will put up a fight and win most of the games it should.
    I love a challenge and I can't wait.

That's awesome. Best news I've heard. Can you tell me the matchups of those 4 games?

    Edit: and the scores?

Tell me it wasn't against teams like Wyoming, West Kentucky or FAU. Even if it was though, nice to know you get solid competition from the cpu on AA. I will definitely stay offline all season long then.

Yep it's going to be fun to do a carousel OD because it will be a challenge not only to win but to keep your job

I don't necessarily agree with that. You're right that the L-stick is effective for moving around (and should be), but the juke should be deadly with the right player -- think of a back like Barry Sanders, who would juke defenders right out of their jockstrap.

I had three runs today where I was one-on-one with a safety. All three times I did a double juke, and all three times he steamrolled me as if I hadn't made a move at all. He just ran clean through me -- didn't slow down or anything. And this was on Varsity. I mean ... come on.

I'm hoping that tuners/sliders can remedy this.

As for the spin move, I'd almost like to see EA get rid of it altogether (except maybe when trying to spin out of a tackle) and use the B button for a different move. Players don't try to get all ballerina in the open field -- if they did, we'd be seeing a lot more shredded ACLs and concussions.

Then why not keep it in and make it a penalty for anyone dumb enough to do it? Hey, kids playing the game might even learn something about sportsmanship

My point is that EA should be neutral; the developer's job is to accurately reflect what happens on the field. Their opinion on showboating isn't relevant.

If it's in the game ...

    Dont remember exact scores but:

-Lost close as Oklahoma St vs Oregon
-Lost by about 7 as Nebraska vs Washington
-Lost by 2-3 TDs as Michigan vs Northwestern (lots of turnovers)
-Lost by 2-3 TDs as South Carolina vs Clemson (lots of turnovers)
-Just lost a close one as Texas A&M vs Texas. Great game and I am going to start uploading it to Youtube now.

It would be nice to win one but I have to admit the challenge is fun as hell. I'm struggling on offense really bad right now. I'll post that video as soon as I can.

in the past games, I turned the bad sportsmanship penalty off so I could see the animations

LOL I'd probably do the same thing. I have no problem with showboating/celebrating so long as it doesn't reach T.O./Ochocinco levels.

But taking user-controlled celebrations out of the game is like preaching abstinence -- instead of pretending players don't showboat, EA should just make sure it comes with real-life consequences.

I'll ask again. Do the RBs or ball carriers in general still immediately go into the charging/truck animation multiple times when a defender is around?

Last year they would do that constantly, even when a defender wasn't close to making the tackle.

Yeah, I guess my experience has been different, in that I haven't had a problem using the juke (was mostly playing FSU vs. Bama on AA). It hasn't always been effective (nor should it always be effective with every player, no matter how deadly), but it's been successful enough for me that I'm happy with it. So, either I'm somehow doing something different from you, or I just got lucky many times in a row.

I've seen them use the move to duck under a tackle but I haven't seen them get into that annimation and not break out of it.

I shouldn't laugh. When I got MLB 2K11 I was checking out my VIP file and discovered I was on a similar losing streak. I had played some half games too but all of my full games were losses. Started out 0-9 before I got my first win. I'm sure Kwizzy's feeling the pressure!

Same here... ball carriers, including QBs, seem much more effective at picking up yardage where it exists without unnecessary cuts or covering. Not to say it doesn't happen but it hasn't happened to where I've noticed it which means it hasn't been an issue.

Oh trust me I am. But like I said, it's actually been refreshing to lose! I thought I had the last one and was up 7 with 5 min or so left then they tied it, i kicked a FG & then they drove down and put it in the end zone w/ 48s left. My biggest problem so far has been inopportune turnovers, the zones are still getting me!

Hey Kwizzy got a question for ya.....

Have you had your punt blocked or FG blocked yet ? I think that might be something that needs to be tuned or patch. There should be punt blocks and FG blocks happening in the game for schools who are rated high in special teams. Same thing if a player comes out in a regular punt formation, but the cpu comes out in an all out punt block, the user should be getting his punt blocked 99% of the time for not having enough blockers back to help protect the punt.
