I'll try to keep testing this but right now I'd say it's probably the same as is in the demo.
    2. This does appear to be a bug... snapped the ball and immediately pressed and no flag was thrown.

I'm going to pass #2 along to the devs, I'll wait until I have more research for #1.
Yeah (1) is a change from past versions of the game that will cause serious problems for guys trying to change things up when the play clock is running down, especially when calling a master audible which, by definition, often has to be flipped right after you call it (note: the problem is not just trying to flip the play, it's that you also can't call an audible until the players are set). Notably, on defense, there is no change compared to '11 (you can flip the play or call an audible immediately after breaking the huddle without waiting for anyone to be "set" first).

Question to everyone... will full quarter videos give enough of a taste of specific gameplay you're wanting to see? For example, I'm playing Georgia Tech at Navy in order to see how the Flexbone works both for CPU & HUM controlled teams. I can either record a full game and upload the whole thing over two nights, or I can record individual quarters and tackle at least two different types of gameplay each night.

Thanks Steeler, I was asking about the stat-tracking error where lineman don't get credit for pancakes that you can visually confirm during gameplay. Thanks again.

I think full quarters are ok if you're playing on Heisman

    Quarter videos work for me

I vote for individual quarters so we can see as many teams and styles as possible.

No worries, I'll make sure to check on it better, but I don't think it's changed.

What I'll do is I'll just record until I reach 15 minutes with me skipping as much presentation as it will let me.

Right now the games I'm playing are on All-American, though I can record a Heisman video at some point.

it may not matter, but how about simming till the 4th qtr and recording the 4th qtr if the level of intensity is a little different or fans left or something? minor suggestion that can be ignored haha

I like this idea. Also to see different crowd noise reactions on big play scenarios

In the Apple Cup video 3, what's with the ball carriers for the cpu always going towards the left corner of the endzone? The first run that the cpu broke might have been a TD if he just ran straight!

EDIT: Also I lied about the kick/punt returns being better. The Kick Returns are definitely better, however the punt returns still have the coverage team running down the middle of the field in a big blob. All they have to do is make the coverage teams have lanes and problem solved. Can't be that hard.

Havent looked through all 5 pages, but really noticed it today. DO the RBs still catch the screen and take off really quick?

Technically intentional grounding is supposed to be called only when you throw the ball away to avoid a sack. If you throw it away immediately it's much like grounding the ball to stop a clock. ie. no penalty because it wasn't to avoid a sack.

Quite frankly QBs throw the ball away all the time in football without a flag. They just throw it somewhat close to a WR to avoid the flag (or out of the back of the end zone to avoid a sack). Refs in real life give the QB all kinds of leeway and usually only call very blatant grounding plays.

Any word on how the cpu QB runs the spread of it scrambling QBs like Denard Robinson take off more in the retail version?

watch this video...since T Pryor is still in the game you'll see him as well as the Michigan QB...both teams are controlled by the CPU...I was impressed with the QB running!

Running the option against a 3-4 is quite difficult at this point in time. Part of it has to do with the "fluid" run blocking art but also part of it is that at times, you expect the OLB to be the read when instead the DE is the read. For now I'm going to hold off posting any GaTech vs Navy gameplay just because I want to A) wrap my head around whats wrong with it exactly and B) test to see how it works against the 4-3.

The Michigan-OSU video looked good in that Pryor scrambled twice and Denard once. I wish the dev team would remove the QB slide from the cpu QBs if they aren't going to do it right though. Denard slides at the end of his run for no good reason. In the demo I saw Thomas of Oregon slide while running the zone read which made no sense. I know they should slide in certain situations, particularly for pocket passers, but there are just too many odd slide attempts in the game. I'd rather see no QB slides than too many dumb ones.

Do you feel like run blocking on the edge is better than what we see in the demo? Seems like a lot of missed blocks by WRs on toss and option plays.
