Should be interesting to see how they incorporate some of the Iformation stuff with the no huddle & spread stuff.
Sounds pretty interesting, can't wait! That means I may have to re-do my custom playbook

Got a tweet from Sean Callahan, and he thinks Bubba will go top ten, could go as high as #2.

Bubba to KC = bad news bears It was a longshot no matter who drafted him with the money he's going to get but considerring one of the biggest hesitations he had about going pro was being away from his family, KC drafting him was the worst case scenario for us. Bye bye Bubba, sure woulda been fun to hear Greg Sharpe yelling:

"AND BUBBA BREAKS FREE, TO THE TEN, THE FIVE, TOUCHDOWN NEBRASKA!"

Yep to the hometown team at #5 is going to be the kiss of death I think. He wants to play baseball more than football, he said as much in the interview with Harold Reynolds.

It looks like Nebraska (adidas) is getting into the business of team specific gloves, just like the Nike Pro Combat Gloves.

NU's student manager tweeted pics of these earlier today:

I'm guessing other adidas schools will have their own versions this fall as well.

Yeah I saw someone posting those on Facebook today....but yet writing on eye black is banned I guess that's because the NCAA doesn't get $ out of that.

It also doesn't hurt that the gloves won't come printed with Bible verses, area codes, shout-outs to bros back home, etc. The next thing the NCAA will crack down on is writing on tape (wrist, forearms, etc.).

I'm with Kwizzy on this one, I'm not a fan. I can handle the "blackshirts" one.

My problem with them is that it's just an image printed half on each glove. Not like the other gloves you see where it's a design that when you put em together it creates an image but seperately it just looks like a design on the glove. These just look tacky IMO.

They do look second-rate and I think your reasoning is a big part of it.

Now that i look closer you can't even read BlackShirts on those gloves.

I agree if one glove can't stand out by itself then it just isn't good enough, I'll never become a fan of needing both to make the design work.

I actually don't have a oproblem with needing to put the two together to form the picture. My problem is that on its own, each glove just looks like half of a screen printed image. All of the other gloves at least don't look woefully incomplete without the pair being together. If you look at the gloves in the link below they all either: A) Can stand alone or B) just look like a design on the glove until you put them together.

Yeah, that just looks plain ugly as hell and a blatant attempt by either Nebraska or Adidas to cash in on the popularity of the Nike Pro Combat gloves. Either way, if I was a Nebraska fan, I'd be embarrassed to have those hideous things in any way associated with the team/university.

    That would be pretty funny.

NU received a verbal commit from a DL recruit out of Ohio yesterday; McMurren IIRC.

McMullen & yeah he looks like a stud. Hoping to get another commit from a 4Star OL from Colorado this afternoon. He's down to us & Michigan. GBR!
