Best way to do it, run a skewer through the middle to give it a little space in the middle. Then marinate it in a honey/Tabasco sauce marinade for a couple hours. The skewered out middle helps to get full saturation of the sauce into the hot dog. Then grill that bad boy, put some fresh, hand shredded pepperjack and colby cheeses on it, then some chili sauce, and then some coleslaw. You'll never be able to have a regular hot dog again.
