Didn't even realize you could do a group chat on PSN.

    PSU 27, SDSU 7.

One game in, against a lousy opponent whose QB I sidelined for 11 weeks (dislocated elbow) early on, it's tough to be sure but I think the new sliders will be much more challenging. We maaaay even want 8-minute quarters down the line. I guess we'll see how the season plays out.

    Good job, Chris!

Miami will be coming out with a completely different offense this season. Coach Ryby has said he has not played more than a few games ever in this offense and it will be a work in progress. It will be debut against #2 Florida next week. I have gotten bored doing the same old things on offense and want to try something new.

Despite throwing for 577 yards, Notre Dame falls to the Aggies of Texas A&M. QB Garrett Brown completed 36/55 passes for 577 with three touchdowns but importantly, also threw four interceptions. Not only did the Fighting Irish lose their opening game, they also lost their All-World receiver, Jason Smith for the entire season. Smith will use his redshirt year as a medical redshirt... oh wait, no he won't. Irish fans will have to hold out hope that he returns for his senior season where undoubtedly he'll be considered the best receiver in the country.

PSU fans have one less thing to worry about in week 4.

Yeah, rrrriiiight. Maybe now I only give up 650 passing yards to ND.

Hopefully, PITT injures a few of your "semi-pro" athletes this week, JB.

After an ugly defensive start, Bama stepped up the D in the 2nd half by pitching a shutout. Took out #19 Pitt in their house 55-26, had a fumble return for a TD and a 103-yd INT return for the final score of the game. Something that didn't happen much with Bama last year, was a close to 300-yd passing performance, and McCarron came close with some great passes. Next week. Stelerfan.

Texas' defensive line OWNED Florida's offensive line but in the end Guillory made enough plays with his legs and Mack Brown (only in EA land could a Mack Brown play for Florida) led the Gators to a hard fought 7 point victory. Brown finished with 17 carries for 143 yards and 2 touchdowns and had 2 monster 2nd half TD runs that proved to be the difference. Texas fought hard but after a failed onside kick time simply ran out on Texas.

Miami is scrapping the new offensive scheme until some things can be fleshed out.
