Powerhouse OD - General Discussion Thread

Hey guys, Eric and I have been talking about starting up another Online Dynasty with Mid Tier teams along the lines of a Baylor, Iowa State and such and I wanted to let you guys know in case anyone was interested.

Like I was telling Papa who also is interested as is Jeff I'm not looking at blazing fast advances by any means. Papa would like to keep user games to no more then 3 a year which I can easily do for him as well with his schedule. Eric and I are going to probably drop out of the other 2 that we are in since it is just a cheese filled league with some close friends, LOL. We just wanted something else that we can semi build a team with.

I know Eric is liking Iowa State for example
then Papa mentioned something like moving SMU into the Big 12 which I'm all for as well.

I'm kinda torn on teams and I'll probably just wait a little bit to see where everyone falls and fill in any gaps. We don't have to all be in the same conferences either, but I'd like 3 in each one at a min.

HairyDawg is interested as stated above (I sent you a private message) so if Oneback is interested as well that will give us 6 thus far.

I'd be down for it...throw out what rosters and what guidlines we need to limit our team to and I'll start searching for a team.

Look for teams under 85 ovr I guess would be a good spot since Iowa State is an 83ovr and SMU is a 78ovr

Seeing everyone playing COD last night online made me want to go grab a copy right then and there. How is the game for those that played it?

its harder than mw2, smaller hit boxes and slower changes for actions like sprinting and throwing a grenade or laying down a claymore so u are exposed a lot longer if u choose to do those things.

I might have to grab this and claim early christmas gift for myself, LOL. Especially seeing you all having it online yesterday, made me want to grab a copy and starting hammering on you all.

The only problem is that everytime I buy a different game, I find myself never playing it as much because I just love NCAA and if I'm waiting on an advance I just practice things or try unlocking trophies. Decisions decisions decisions........

i think i played mw2 for like 6 months or so, it was a lot of fun and a nice break from ncaa, at this point in the year i usually only play my OD games for ncaa anymore, and i just finished fall out new vegas so im ready for online killing

papa and i need to get better at team death match, we got rocked yesterday afternoon...im more of a domination player though so i dont play very well in other game types.
