What would you guys recommend for changes to help the CPU run game? Let's get some ideas out there and then figure out a slider setting to try.

1 game after the 3rd patch I survived against LSU in Double OT.

I was VERY rustly not playing in over a week so not sure if it was me or the patch has changed that many things. From the one game the only "problems" I saw was (1) CPU running game could be bumped up slightly; (2) Pass coverage both CPU and Man needs to be much better (3) Hum front 4 pass rush is non existent and CPU Pass rush is overly effective particularly if they blitz.

Well, I've built two computers. But both of them have eventually died and I've yet to have a repair that worked. Combine that with all these people writing online that reflow wasn't that easy, and I just wasn't confident.

There are a lot of things that I can probably do, and people would trust me to do, that I don't really have confidence in myself to actually do.

It took til the 3rd quarter, but Bama decided to finally play then. Was down 20-10, won 38-23. A pick six turned the tide completely (no pun intended).

We are ready to advance. Miami knocks off FSU 24-10 behind a strong day from Graig Cooper. Cooper had 171 yards and 2 TD's to lead the Cane's to victory. Miami did lose starting FS Ray Ray Armstrong for 10 Weeks with a broken wrist.(I think)

Ray Ray was my player of the game in the ACC Championship game on the 360 dynasty 3 FF's

Hopefully I will have him back for my bowl game. At least my backup has 95 speed.

Cooper had two TD's over 60 yards last game.(62,70) Berry fumbled in the fourth so he didn't carry the ball much more after that.

I can't remember what happened but Cooper was injured for 12 weeks. But I think he is back for the bowl game, but since Berry has done so well, he's staying the starter.

I haven't had the NCAA disc in my PS3 since the day we last advanced (thank you, NHL 11). Are we close to advancing again?

EDIT: just got on to recruit in another OD and we are 8/10 ready. OSU and FSU remain.

Iron Dragon and hova are the last two remaining. We'll be advancing late tonight or early tomorrow no matter what, so hopefully they get their game in ASAP.

I'm gonna have to drop out of this one for now, at least. I'm in four other ODs and five is too much to juggle. I've enjoyed it and if your willing, I could join back in if time reopens.

I kinda am holding you guys back a bit, so I'd rather speed you guys up than slow you guys down. Best of luck to you all in this OD.

Virtual PSU fans cheer as the path to the Rose Bowl has just gotten a bit easier.

Hate to see you drop out, ID. I've been looking forward to the PSU/OSU game since day 1. But, I understand and appreciate your honesty.

Not to pile on, but I see situations like this as the biggest detractor to ODs. Prior to this year, I was only in one and it was a 2 man OD with a buddy from across town. By time NHL 10 dropped, we were in season 5 or 6.

This year, I wanted to join this one. I knew it would be slow-moving, but I never thought it'd be this slow. When I realized it would be (and I understand we had a long delay with getting a game thrown out), I joined another. I joined it because it was supposed to advance every 3 days. It hasn't, but it's been moving at a better pace than this one.

I guess what I'm getting at is that alot of guys join several to ensure that they always have something to do. It's the easy answer to a slow-moving OD...join another one. What happens after that is that you get bogged down and slow down the one you thought was slow to begin with. It's a chicken/egg scenario. Which came first? Slow ODs or guys slowing them down because their plate is too full?

The thing that makes a dynasty great is playing several seasons. If you only get a season or 2 in, what's the point? All that recruiting becomes meaningless. Again, I'm not calling anyone out. I think the whole OD experience would be much better if guys would stick to one and keep it moving.

Remember how excited everyone was about DW when it was announced? Well, no one uses it. I know I quit just because it seems pointless to put effort into it when virtually no one else does. Who has time when you're in 2 or 5 or 7 ODs? It's too bad, I think it's an incredible feature and I was probably the least excited when it was announced.

I guess all this rambling/bellyaching has made me realize that the right OD for me is one in which everyone is committed to keeping up a good pace and everyone uses DW to post highlights and stories. The problem is, that OD probably doesn't exist. More and more, I'm seeing that next year I should just stay offline.

Sorry to bitch, it's been on my mind for a long time and it's time to let it out. Again, I'm not attacking anyone and the likely culprit in my disappointment is my own ideals.
