Cool. When I looked at the activity of my friends it listed their PSN name but mine said my full name haha

I spent some time with Reosogun or Roshambo as I like to it. Took me a while to realize what I was doing..thought I was suppose to just shoot stuff to save the humans lol, not pick them up

Didn't get to play any of the others after they downloaded (Black Light, Warframe).

Can't believe they were still trying to get full price for Madden. Was tempted to NCAA for PS3 but it's still $50

Ran across this few weeks ago about power consumption of current gen consoles

Meh, I already completely shut down both my One and PS4 because I don't trust the stability of the power grid around here.

Sent from my Droid Maxx using Tapatalk because I'm a lazy ass

I shut down mine completely as well. Have no interest in being able to turn my system on with a command

Though I will like it to have it turn on to take care of a download when necessary.

I put mine on standby a couple times a week for in the event there are updates to games. Wish they had like what they had in the PS3 for PS+ members where it turns on your system at a certain time and installs updates then.

I standby both 24/7. Fuck that turning on your system to see a 4GB update for the game you want to play BS.

There are 4GB updates for games these days? What's that like equivalent of the game's total disc size?

    Bluray discs can hold 50GB.

Oh yeah I know that, I mean't the game's total size, not the actual disc size.

I recall games I downloaded on PS3 being not much more than 4.50-5 gigs

Full retail games on the PS3 average around 8 GB, some I've seen were 15 or 16 GB.

Damn could have sworn last year's version of Tiger Woods wasn't that much.

Thought I remembered the early pass of Madden or NCAA was around 6-7 GB last year. Could be wrong.

Yeah maybe 8 is high for the average, 6-7 is probably closer.

Cross-platform and specifically EA's games on last gen stayed around the 8GB limitation of the DVD for the 360. The first party games was where you saw upwards of 20GB for PS3 games.

In short, yeah waiting for a 4-5 GB patch would be frustrating lol

The dream has died. The Last Guardian has been cancelled.

Shitty to hear as most people were hoping to see some news about it at E3. Especially when Sony told IGN it was still in development back in 2013. Never got to play SOTC but I loved ICO. Which reminds me of my favorite penny-arcade strip.

This is some serious entertainment for the weekend. Neogaf thread hit 28 pages in less than 30 minutes. The guy who told IGN that the game was still in the works just tweeted.

I'll go ahead and be the one - I never saw the appeal of it in the first place. I thought it looked lame as hell from the first second I saw it.

As someone who has worked with athletes in the Special Olympics, would it be too much to ask not to use that word. Plenty of words to choose from but that one hits too close to home.

I save the word "retard" for the lamest of things. I don't think mentally challenged people like the ones you worked with would fall under that category. If you find it offensive, though, I'll find a better word next time.
