I'll go ahead and be the one - I never saw the appeal of it in the first place. I thought it looked FUGLY/UGLY/PUGLY/CRAPPY/SAPPY/ETC as hell from the first second I saw it.
As someone who has worked with athletes in the Special Olympics, would it be too much to ask not to use that word. Plenty of words to choose from but that one hits too close to home.
