Maryland falls to #1 LSU 27-7. 2 turnovers and a few dropped passes late in the game did Maryland in. it was a pretty defensive game for the most part. 243 offensive yards for LSU, 226 for Maryland.
I believe all the games have been played for the week.

Miami (JBHuskers) vs. Maryland (Solidice) - ACC Championship
LSU (Lilheavy) vs. Tennessee - SEC Championship

Solidice, I will be free tomorrow night after 6 central or so. Tuesday it won't be til later, probably after 10. Wednesday, unless we start right at 5 I can't with dart league starting up.

I have a love/hate for Da Rel Scott. 24 carries 204 yards 1 TD, but 4 fumbles! ugh... I had the ACC championship in sight, then threw a pick. able to force OT, but failed on a 4th and goal and lose 24-17. 3 of my 4 loses were in OT. so close.

Wow for the 2nd time this year Solidice and myself go into overtime. I pulled out a 24-17 win with my backup QB & RB. Forced five turnovers, but the key to the game was a holding call after he was about to score to tie it up. That backed him up enough to where I was able to stop him on four downs. Great game dude! Looks like Jacory and Berry are out four weeks....but with a BCS bid, I may get them back just in time for the bowl game.
I have now advanced to bowl season. I will advance late Saturday night.
Only one user game in the bowls .... and that is the Orange Bowl between myself and Romo.

Nope 9-4 is solid. Should bring attention to some recruits.
Da Rel Scott had 239 carries with 1621 yards rushing this season, and that is with 4 games of him getting injured in the 1st quarter and missing the rest of the game. I would guess he had at least 4 200 yards games, maybe 5. he did great when he didn't fumble or get injured. he is a senior though, so Meggett will have to step in next season. Meggett was not bad though, 119 carries 631 yards himself. I'll probably spread the carries next year though between 2-3 backs. hopefully I can give Scott a good final game in the Chick-fil-A bowl against Georgia.
I just remember that I had a chance to kick a FG at the end of the first half, but for some reason it wouldn't let me no-huddle/spike it. that made me mad(I had no timeouts). that could have been enough for me to win.

IIRC Berry finished 4th in the nation with 1300 yards rushing....not bad considering he didn't start until week 3.
my LE Derek Drummond walked away with the Bednarik, Nagurski, and Lombardi Awards. I guess that means he'll be going pro.

I love the bowl games, the intros, the crowd seems louder, etc..
Da Rel Scott, on his 2nd carry of the game breaks the school record for rushing yards in a season. good senior year for him.

that dude was crazy. I stopped using him against the CPU cause I thought I was using some unknown exploit or something, but even him being controlled by the CPU he go off.
