That's a nice week of signees. Vince Lamb looks like he's going to be a heck of CB.

Jamal is a pure speed back. Not really looking to run over people but around them. The speed coach is already chomping at the bit to improve his acceleration.

PSU is still looking for their 3rd commit, but it appears the staff is starting to gather themselves after a slow start this year as rumors are swirling around about a few soft commits.

There are some, but roster positions are at a preimum for me right now. I can't take on any extra players without making a few cuts.

Papa, if I can get some commits I'll be going the way of a few 3*'s to solidify my depth at a few positions that is for sure.

News to the Longhorn staff. Classic case of a recruit and/or coaching staff padding offer sheets to make themselves look good :-p

Well it's a good thing you didn't know about him... would have been sick for you to get the #1 and #2 HBs.

That must be an issue with a Scout/Rivals ranking because I have the #2 HB in Deon Brown (at least according to Dynasty Wire).

That does seem to be the case per the site. I'm almost positive that the console has Stickland as the #2.... I could be wrong though.

Right now I have five guys with Oklahoma in first (one five-star ATH and four three-stars) and only a pair of three-star commits. I'm having troubles, for sure.

I'm losing 7 starters on offense and maybe 8 if Landry goes, and six on defense, so this isn't good.

probably should focus on texas and oklahoma state for recruits (pipeline), though im pretty sure papa can negative recruit against every school but UF, Bama and maybe USC so it may be tough.

I really thought he was yours....I think the rivalry game had something to do with it....I only was given a B for the Nebraska visit while the other two RBs gave me an A. I was thinking I got a B, because 2 other guys were brought in for his visit.

    Eugene Reed
    # Height: 6'2"
    # Weight: 232 lbs
    # Hometown: Escondido, CA
    # Tendency: Power
    # Top 3 Schools: #1 Florida State, #2 Oregon, #3 Alabama

Eugene comes to FSU with big upside, but little ability to make an impact his freshman year. He is the last target FSU will expect to sign in the regular season.

    Phillip Tyson
    #4 DE | #27 OVR
    [4star] [espnu150]
    6'1 264 lbs
    Paramus, NJ

Phillip appears as though he'll develop into a great defensive end with his decent rip & swim moves but once he gets free, he's able to find a line of attack on the quarterback. Also with his strength, there is a possibility that he could move to the interior line but time will tell. Tyson chose Wisconsin over offers from West Virginia, Rutgers, and Boise State.

On the complete other end of the spectrum, I expect that my board will be completely clear by Week 9, and I won't have any recruiting to do until the offseason. About the only guy that might stay on my board is the player we're both going after.
