    Spoiler: show
what I don't get (other than for sake of drama) is why even kill them in the first place? Why not just lock them in a cell in an abandoned section of the prison... you know... like they had kind of already done?

Sometimes, you can't do the logical thing on tv. It doesn't make for compelling television.

Because then the nation wouldn't be talking about the banishment of Carol from the group.

Eventually turn I guess...be easier to deal with now than to be more threatening people to kill later..kind of like it appears is going to happen in the next episode

The ones who haven't turned yet in the death row section are going to attack by the ones who haven't.

Besides hindsight is always 20/20 haha, it's the zombie apocalypse man lol

This week's ep was interesting. Think they might be setting up the spinoff. Will have to wait and see how the season ends.

    Spoiler: show
I would have loved to see Carol pop out of the shadows right after the Governor appears. I know it goes against her nature but it would have made for one heck of a twist.

Now to the episode. How exactly is a dog living at this point? Was it a Zombie dog? Someone check their DVR as it is really bugging me. Hershel really disappointed me, if he would have just listened to the actual doctor... If he told me to kill some people, I would make what Carol did look like a child holding a black snake or sparkler.

Guess we find out next week what Daryl thinks about the whole Carol situation.

I wondered about the dog as well. Unless they are resistant to the virus/disease. Even after eating Walkers'. When Daryl and the others went to the Vet hospital I thought for sure they would run into some zombie animals after seeing the cages, but they may be somehow immune to the outbreak. Even the pigs didn't turn or anything, just simply died

Does Carol even know what the Governor looks like?

And what do you mean by if Herschel just listened to the actual doctor? Must have missed something there.

I thought Herschel did a kickass job in this episode, with what he had to work with. I honestly thought that was going to be the end of Herschel when he went to tend to Sasha with a walker in the next cell over.

Kinda interesting how Lizzy didn't freak out and actually got out to lure the walker away from Glen (though she about pulled a Carl and f'd up when she fell over).

Getting caught up on the chatter. In regards to last week's episode
    Spoiler: show
Does anyone else feel a Daryl, Carol spin off? I know they haven't said what the spin off will be but good god do I hope that is not the reason for kicking Carol out of the group. I don't think they are dumb enough to do that but it was my first thought when Rick sent her packing

    This week -
    Spoiler: show
Awesome episode IMO, a little far fetched that Rick and Carl cut down ALL of those walkers but still pretty cool. Kinda bummed the Governor is back, I thought it was getting old with him last season and was hoping they just let him go off into the sunset.

I knew they weren't going to let anything happen to Herschel when it took that Walker all of 45 minutes to come out of that cell. Herschal and Sasha had a good ole conversation before that Walker even got up out of the bed. He had time to move Sasha and talk to her.

I figured he was gone too once everyone started appearing to be dying and he had no help since Glen was choking out on the floor.

Well they both were using automatic assault rifles so I could believe it

Just don't understand why they didn't do that when they were on the other side of the fence.

The noise would just attract more walkers, but at this point they had no other choice.

I think the Governor is somehow leading herds of walkers to the prison.

If they hadn't shown the person who was feeding rats to the walkers as being inside the prison fences, I absolutely would have had the Governor pegged as the person doing it. His army was no more, so he couldn't just come straight at them and attack. Instead, lead the walkers to the prison, keep adding to the numbers, and hope the walkers would become too much and overrun them.

And just to keep the walkers interested, feed them rats through the fence. But since he doesn't have access to inside of the fence, well, we still have no clue who the hell that actually was who was feeding them. There are theories, but nothing concrete one way or the other.

I think Lizzy being weird was the one feeding the rats. She's not grossed out by rats if she'll toe tap in Glen's bloody mucus, but I can see the Governor leading the gigantic herd towards the prison somehow.

True but putting wooden logs and stabbing them just prolonged the inevitable. Since they already tried leading them away with the pigs.

That was my thought as well that the Governor was somehow leading them to that point of the perimeter. Someone was feeding them rats, so that was my guess of who it was. But looked like it was done from inside the gate.

Maybe he's been inside the outer fence.....

And why haven't they tried to figure out who was feeding the rats since they noticed them? Been a little busy with the flu sickness thing, but still....
