    It's back!

Lionsgate is now reportedly developing an eighth Saw film, based on the torture-horror series created by James Wan and Leigh Whannell. This will be the first Saw to come out since 2010's Saw 3D.

The Saw films used to dominate the Halloween movie market, with a new installment coming out almost every year. But after Saw 3D, it was Paramount's Paranormal Activity series that took over the month of October (until this year, of course).

But according to Bloody Disgusting, Lionsgate is hoping to change that by putting a new spin on the Saw franchise. The studio is in no rush to meet an October release, however, and it sounds like they're keen on waiting for a suitable take. There was chatter about a remake at one point, but insiders say they'd rather just continue the series with Saw 8.

I, personally, like to see movies in 3-D if I can. I know a lot of people dislike it for various reasons but it's visually more appealing in 3-D.

Ugh, you're the reason 3D movies haven't died in a fire yet.

Needless to say, don't see a movie in 3D unless it was actually shot in 3D (ala Avatar, How to Train A Dragon, Gravity, etc).

Yeah, I am the reason and I hope it doesn't go away. As long as people have the option to watch it in 2D, there's no reason to eliminate 3D. I even play my 3DS in 3D. Like I said, it's visually more appealing as I like the depth it adds. Gravity in IMAX 3D was BEAUTIFUL.

How is a movie more enjoyable in 3D I never got it? You gotta pay 9 bucks already for a movie then like 4 bucks for the glasses then add on another 7 bucks for soda and popcorn. It's too bad we just can't buy our own 3D glasses and use them at the theaters even if we have to buy them at a theater so they don't get jealous .

I would like to see a new 3D film tho the last one i saw in 3d was the remake of The Lion King was really disappointed in that film being 3d it was cool but not great.

scratch that I did go see Cirque Du Soleil in 3D with the lady. That was actually really good.

The movie isn't more enjoyable. The movie is what it is. It's more visually appealing. It's like a sexy chick with D cups and another chick with DDs. They're both hot but the DDs may be a bit more visually appealing.

Saw Thor in 3D and with five mins of Capt America before it. Love the movie, but the 3D was kind of meh.

I will be seeing Hungry Games on Thursday at 5 pm.
