I'm seeing that some members of the Xbox Ambassadors/MVP program are getting a free Xbox One plus five games.

Damn where's mine. I'm an ambassador, but haven't been active in a long time.

Sent from my DROID RAZR Maxx since I'm too lazy to get to the CPU using Tapatalk 4
    The dude abides.

Same here. I've been with Ambassadors since last spring.

I know I read an article one time where MS said running a console through their HDMI pass thru (or whatever they're calling it) wouldn't work well because of latency issues, but do y'all think it would be a problem to run my TV PC through it? I don't usually use that PC for games, but I do occasionally play Civ on it.

My cheap TV only has 2 HDMI inputs, so it would be great if I could put the PC through the XB1.

Marc Whitten and Yusuf Mehdi walk through a comprehensive demo of Xbox One, including instant switching, biometric sign-in, Live TV, Skype, game DVR, OneGuide and more.

I'm sorry, but if I gave a shit about either console, I'd be VERY pissed about the XBONE not running shit at 1080p or at 60 fps. While some people say they can't tell the difference between 30 and 60, I ABSOLUTELY can, especially for games where lots of things are happening on the screen at once (like Dead Rising 3). So, lunatic or not, it's a BIG deal when there is noticeable frame skips because of it not running at AT LEAST 50 fps. Play any game that is all about twitch reflexes and play it at 30 fps and 60 fps. The difference is GIGANTIC.

This guy apparently has an Xbox One early....that he got from Target, claiming they sent it to him early by mistake. He has been posting some info.

Cue CLW calling Target Corporate HQ and Twitter Support to have this filth removed.

I am with you on FPS to an extent but I can live with a relatively consistent 30FPS. When you get big dips in the teens and below, it is distracting. That said I agree with IOU, this really is an issue for fanboys and angry people who dislike being called a lunatic.

I play the game, not the resolution it is being displayed at. Any multi-console gamer knows that when you go back to the PS3 from a 360 playing at higher resolutions are not high up on the list of reasons for switching. Sadly it came with more of those annoying framerate dips. It was all about the games. The Last of Us was rendered natively at 720p. Second best game I have played this year. The Show is rendered natively at 720p. Best sports game I have played this year. Both looked stunning, even at that lowly 720p resolution. Ironic that someone like CLW has lived with the PS3 all this time and this is suddenly a big issue?

Completely forgot my favorite game of the year, GTAV, which is native 720P on both the PS3 and 360 with a not so locked in 30FPS. Yet somehow this game is more impressive to me than some of the next gen stuff.

Update shows that his console got banned. Play with fire and you get burned.

He did post something interesting that got me thinking about EA's next golf game. He listed the file sizes of the games.

    Ghosts: 39GB
    Skylanders: 15GB
    Madden 25: 12GB
    LocoCycle: 13GB
    Zumba Fitness: 24GB
    Dead Rising 3: 19GB
    NBA 2K14: 43GB
    NBA LIVE: 9GB
    Forza 5: 31GB
    FIFA 14: 8GB
    Assassin's Creed IV: 20GB
    Just Dance 2014: 22GB
    Ryse: 34GB

Lococycle uses more space than all of the EA Sports Games? Lococycle? I know some games use a little padding to make pirating games more difficult but you really have to question how much "next gen" really went into EA's next gen games. They have all this space available and yet...

Edit: I moved the rest to the Tiger Woods Section.

Also the guy took screens of this information, in case you were wondering about the accuracy.

Yeah I made a few calls and sent a cease and desist letter out and took care of that garbage.
