Yes, uninformed people. They're not quick time events, but rather execution prompts. You can hit the button to trigger a special execution, or you can completely ignore it and kill them the standard way. As for the game itself, to me it looks like God of War from a Gears of War perspective, which I will love if the gameplay and story are solid.

Yeah I dunno haven't been following it closely b/c its an MS exclusive but it looks impressive graphically and could be compelling with a decent story line but I still don't understand how the game plays is it First Person or Third Person? Haven't played Gears so no clue what the goal is.

It's third person, but it's a really tightly zoomed third person. Take for example Uncharted...you can see your entire character. With Gears and Ryse, you can only see your character from about thigh up.

Yeah, I think it looks sweet. Everyone was all over it for the reason CLW mentioned, they thought those prompts above enemies were quick time events and even though they came right out and said they weren't, people had already run with it.

I think the combat looks pretty fun, and graphically, I mean it's arguably the best looking launch title. I just hope the story is engaging and the game play is solid. Like you, I love these types of story lines...it's amazing to me there aren't more games like it, to be honest.

Yep looks like PS4 poached real gamers from 360 and now all that's left are 12 year olds to play with on Xb1.

Which is why it always outsells Sony in America. It's smart to associate your company with things your main customer base enjoys. Americans mostly enjoy sports and shooters, so that's naturally what Microsoft is going to go after. I never understood the whole "kid" thing. I encountered way more annoying kids on PSN than I ever have on Xbox Live. That may be because of the party system and the fact that I can't hear them, but eh, I think that whole mentality is just warped.

Because nobody on the PS3 plays Madden or COD?

8 million copies of Minecraft sold on the 360, not exactly a "bro" game.
UNO sold over 2 million. We all know that is a big "bro" game.

Well despite this its still behind in pre-orders (see Forbes above) so either the "bros" haven't ordered yet. Or, the non-"bros" decided to go PS4 this time around.

and my limited time with a 360 involved listening to the COD and Madden "bros" on Live ramble on in chat at friends houses. It was quite humorous for about 5 minutes then I wanted to shoot myself and thanked God I owned a PS3.
