FWIW this was posted today on ea's tw14 forum. This is from a forum mod "EAcom Golf Tim" and is his response to his attempt to get an answer from ANYONE on the dev team about a 2nd patch.

Have had no response from EA. I am going to assume there is no 2nd patch, but that is certainly not "official". Quite honestly, this is very poor on EA's part and I do not blame others for reacting accordingly.
