Max Payne 3 for $8, that's a nice deal if you don't have it.

What I've noticed is that big publishers are using Plus as a "hey, try our old ass game when our sequel is coming out in a few months" service. Battlefield 3, Saints Row The Third, Borderlands, Resident Evil 5, Bioshock 2, and Darksiders were all offered a mere few months before their sequels released.
It's not terrible as the value still exceeds the $50/year subscription, but I'd like to see more Sony first party stuff, preferably stuff that isn't 2 or 3 years old. God of War Ascension is a perfect example. Sales are struggling (good, that's what you get for half assing my favorite series) so why not throw it up on Plus? PS All Stars is another perfect example.
They can certainly do a lot better, but I don't have very high hopes for the future of this service. With PS Plus being required for online play, all incentive to make this a truly good service has gone right out the window. Sony is going to get their $50 a year from everyone simply because of how popular online gaming is, so I'm guessing all these high quality games are going to be gone after 6 or so months after PS4 launches.
Sleeping Dogs wasn't all that old.

I would like to see an older MLB the Show or something like "I am Alive".
Yeah, but that's one out of how many. In my eyes, it's the perfect service to throw up games that aren't selling well, but recently released. God of War Ascension, PS All Stars, Starhawk, and Sly Cooper are all perfect examples that would work while not being extremely old.
Honestly, I've been severely underwhelmed by the games for a long time except for the odd good month or two. I've been a paying subscriber since the beginning, but it wasn't for the games, it was for the automatic online storage upload (also one of the reasons I pay for Live, it should be free on both of them).
However, if they would throw up games like that and offer better discounts on more recent stuff, specifically add on content, I would be making better use of the service.
http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/...re-through-ps/Looking at all the versions of the game, he sold over 170,000 copies regularly, with another 270,000 downloads coming via PlayStation Plus. For more detail, “it’s had a strong tail, generating even more revenue this year than last year.”
That's in regards to Retro City Rampage. I think that might show why Sony is going to end up charging for online. A game that is a part of the service you're paying for only gets 270,000 downloads? There much be a lot less subscribers than I thought. Something doesn't add up either way.
Hitman Absolution tomorrow!

Been under $10 multiple times the past 2 months, so I'm really not a fan of that even if it isn't old as hell. Bit Trip Runner 2 is free this month, but I hate runner games. Zen Pinball 2 Star Wars is nice (and I'm pretty sure I actually don't have it already). Machinarium is nice for the Vita game, even though I'm pretty sure it was free for the PS3 version not too many months ago.
The only thing I'm truly happy about is Rayman Origins at $5 tomorrow. Fantastic game and I'll happily play through it again for $5.
