That's usually what I do with Best Buy. If I get shot down once, I just come back the next day. If I get shot down twice, I give up.
That just goes to show you how you can have such a horrible/good experience based on the individual you happen to deal with. That "we can't because of this $10 coupon" line is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard, though.

Wow. Is that intentional or a fuck up? Either way, I've never heard of the game nor have any idea what the game is like, but for one cent, how can I pass it up?
If I would've found this 20 minutes earlier, I would've been golden. Alas, looks like everyone who's ordered recently is getting cancelled, which means I'm probably going to get the same result. Bummer.

Best Buy doesn't match promotions/bundles like "buy and get a $25 gift card" because the majority of them are vendor provided w/ a kickback to certain stores, that's why it didn't work the first time. The second time you just said the game is $25 off which is why it worked.
Depends on the person you get. Sometimes if it's a coupon offer, they'll just knock the price off even though they're technically not supposed to. Others will follow the rule and not do anything. I realize they need a manager override, but all the times I've needed a manager override the guy didn't even look at the screen - typed in his stuff and was on his way.Originally Posted by Escobar

So I got it for Vita ($19 on Amazon a month ago) and PS3 for a total of $39. Not bad.
They need to quit being douches and start cross playing those. They're one of the few that launches on both of them that doesn't do it, and they're even a first party studio!
Maybe next year with the PS4.

I'll probably get both. I'll absolutely never get the platinum for either one of them (way too much grinding for my tastes), but I absolutely LOVE dungeon crawlers. Next to sports, probably my favorite genre. I beat it once on PC, but I didn't like having to be online and that constant mouse clicking just kills my wrists.
