Next rumour which is getting a lot of support on the web. Steam sale starts Thursday July 11th... or does it???
Green Man Gaming had their big sale. Since they mostly use Steam, maybe Steam's waiting for that to end before doing their own.
I know people are busy with NCAA but has anyone had the chance to play Civ V's BRAVE NEW WORLD expansion? I know it just recently released on steam.
Yeah, I probably won't be buying it until at least my next paycheck on Monday.
ITS THAT TIME OF THE YEAR!!!
edit: Steam Website just crashed! ha ha ha

I tried to buy Scribblenauts but the store is having fits, so I'll just try later.
I'm also tempted to get Infinite again just to see those pretty PC graphics.
Same here for the exact same game so I gave up and will try later this evening or in the morning since I get up super early anyway.
I didn't know you wanted it I could have given you a copy for free IOU I just gave it to a guy at work who like you just wanted it on PC to look at the pretty graphics.
I haven't even fired up my copy yet, that or tomb raider.
I appreciate it, but the guy you work with would definitely get more mileage out of it than me. I've already played through most of it on 360, the only reason I'd want it on PC is to look at the eye candy.
But yeah, I've been waiting for Scribblenauts to go under $5 for a long time. Green Man Gaming has had it at that price a few times, but I have Steam credit, so I've just been waiting. Hopefully the store decides to work within the next 48 hours, lol.
Civ v is 50% off so I will pick up that as well as Imperium Romanum for $3.99 AND for the kids Airline Tycoon 2 for $10.19 Good day of sales for cheap!
Honestly if you are willing to risk it I would bet that CIV V would be cheaper than 50% before the sale is over.
Someone refresh my memory - can daily deals be cheaper than the flash deals, or can flash deals be cheaper than the daily deals? I can't remember from last fall.
My routine is normally for the smaller games I will buy it on daily deals, but anything from a major publisher I wait until they have those bundles and a flash deal like I refuse to pick up skryim until it comes on a flash deal, I am also waiting on wargame air and land expansion to get cheaper.
I still don't understand how all this trading card stuff works. I've been looking over it the past several minutes trying to figure out how to get the Summer Getaway Badge, and I'm just as confused now as I was when I began reading about it. Do I basically just buy shit, vote, and then I'll get it? It says something about unlocking cards, which gets you a pin, that somehow leads to a foil...I have absolutely no idea.
And the wait was only a couple hours. For the next 8 hours, as part of the Flash Sales, Civ V is 75% off. Gold Edition is 75% off. The brand new Brave New World, just released on Tuesday, is 33% off. All of the rest of the DLC is either 50% off or 75% off.
For 33% off just three days after it was released, I think I'm gonna snag Brave New World right now for $20.99. Save $9 off the full price, and I doubt we'll see much more than 33% off anytime in the near future, especially since it's still only three days old.
Damn. Wish I had the cash to buy it. I was waiting for it to go on sale (Brave New World DLC).![]()
