Meh I don't recall Bush's defense ever being - I didn't know and/or I am unaware of X. At least Bush was a real man and said we did X b/c .....
I just find it hilarious that this week the liberal's "best" defense of Obama is that Federal Government is too big for anyone to control. Liberals lap it up and say yeah its just too much for any one person to handle.
However, if BP's CEO had gone out there and said the same thing as Obama they would have flipped the F out demanded jail time etc....
You are either a leader or you are not and Obama is clearly not but he does read that teleprompter well I will give you that.![]()
I don't recall that Bush admitting to lying but at least it would be an admission of fault where NOTHING is EVER Obama's fault b/c Obama NEVER KNOWS ANYTHING that is going on with his government. Unless of course it's good news then he was the only one involved like killing OBL.![]()
“In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including Al Qaeda members, though there is apparently no evidence of his involvement in the terrible events of September 11, 2001. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons. Should he succeed in that endeavor, he could alter the political and security landscape of the Middle East, which as we know all too well affects American security.” — Hillary Clinton, October 10, 2002
“I am absolutely convinced that there are weapons…I saw evidence back in 1998 when we would see the inspectors being barred from gaining entry into a warehouse for three hours with trucks rolling up and then moving those trucks out.” — Clinton’s Secretary of Defense William Cohen in April of 2003
“Iraq does pose a serious threat to the stability of the Persian Gulf and we should organize an international coalition to eliminate his access to weapons of mass destruction. Iraq’s search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to completely deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power.” — Al Gore, 2002
“The threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real, but as I said, it is not new. It has been with us since the end of that war, and particularly in the last 4 years we know after Operation Desert Fox failed to force him to reaccept them, that he has continued to build those weapons. He has had a free hand for 4 years to reconstitute these weapons, allowing the world, during the interval, to lose the focus we had on weapons of mass destruction and the issue of proliferation.” — John Kerry, October 9, 2002
“As a member of the House Intelligence Committee, I am keenly aware that the proliferation of chemical and biological weapons is an issue of grave importance to all nations. Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process.” — Nancy Pelosi, December 16, 1998
and then there were the 90+ countries that thought the same, the UN and even President Clinton.
So all politicians are liars and/or incompetent?...oh wait, I know that's true.
Typed by thumbs.
Just open a fucking political thread and keep all this bullshit there already.
I'm using Tapatalk 2 and the Cleveland Browns STILL suck.
Every thread is a political thread once CLW post.![]()

And now for something completely different...
Example #7,352 of why I HATE this fucking birthday club bullshit we do here at work. Yes, lets send in a birthday wish for someone from a fucking UNBORN KID! Way to abuse the system you fucktard!
I hope to god I end up getting this other job I applied for. While I'll still try and keep some hours with the OTHER stations I work for with HS sports and weekend shows, since things aren't run like a fucking circus at those stations, I am dropping this Saturday morning shit in an instant. I've dealt with this crap long enough.
Between getting up in the middle of the fucking night, completely killing every Saturday for me because I end up sleeping the rest of the day after work, and then fucking up my sleep cycle for the rest of the week, I've had more than my fill of this bullshit with the birthday club and then opinionated fucktards calling all the time to bitch about some of the most stupid bullshit imaginable that only they would give a fuck about.
Three years of this bullshit is enough. This morning show shit was fun at first, but now it does nothing but piss me the fuck off every single week. Time to let some other poor fucker get stuck with this shit for a while.
Quite possibly.
God I hate the people in this county. Between the bunch of old fucks who feel the need to bitch about any and every goddamn thing they can possibly find to bitch about and then the fuckers who abuse this stupid ass birthday club shit.
The worst at the dumbasses who send in 10+ different emails for the same damn person, "addressing" it from different family members, but all sent from the same damn email at the same time. Heaven forbid the combine names into one or two damn emails. The fact that there have been days where it has taken 10-11 minutes to do a goddamn birthday club is ridiculous. Today isn't any better. By the time I'll get done, it'll be up around 7-8 minutes total.
Like I said, after three years of this shit every single Saturday without break, I'm through. I've reached my tolerance level of dealing with this shit. Now to wait and see if I get this other job, move into a truly regular full time position with actual regular goddamn hours instead of this mickey mouse bullshit I'm dealing with here, and get the hell out of here as fast as I can. Maybe I can then actually have a normal sleep cycle (even if it's working 3rd shift or something, at least it'll be NORMAL shifts) and actually have a damn weekend for a change.
went to see Rodney Carrington last night. If you ever get the chance to go...GO!
I thought I was going to hyperventilate last night due to laughing so hard!![]()
