Well, I'll go ahead and join CLW in some political postings. Oh, look at that, Ohio Republicans again, for the fiftieth millionth time, trying to suppress voters/voting in Ohio. I swear these fucktards in this state will never give up. Like a fucking wheel, they just keep recycling this shit every couple months.

You are either a resident of the state of OH or you are not. It's a simple part of election law that you must be a resident of a state to vote there. When I was in law school in MO I changed my residency to MO and voted there. When I lived in KY it was KY. When I lived in RI it was RI. Now that I live in TX its TX. I cannot pick and choose to be a resident of a state for one purpose and a resident of another state for some other purpose.

If you are voting in OH you must be a resident of OH and thus must be entitled to in-state tuition for any state institutions.

Seems to me the GOP wants to make sure students get a cheaper education and the liberal media tries to spin it as voter suppression b/c it attacks a the cherished liberal academic establishment from unfairly charging students tuition rates they are not entitled to.

Woman in charge of IRS while targeting Conservative groups now in charge of IRS' Obamacare Office. Yeah there won't be any denials of health care for conservatives. Nothing to see here carry on.

CLW, what University did you get your law degree from? I'm just curious. (not being sarcastic either) The guy that got me hooked on is a lawyer. I find lawyers fascinating.

school was a top 60ish lawschool when I was there but has fallen in the rankings recently due to a number of "scandals" involving a dispute with the University/Church leadership and the now former dean who quit/was fired (depending on who's story you believe).

Then they go out and hire an ambulance chaser/alum to be the new dean and it became a joke within the legal academic community.

This "article" just shows what a jam up job our state run "educational" systems are doing. Keep churning out those that are either not interested in intellectually challenging government or worse, not able.

Did they by chance offer classes in critical thinking? Was discussing the subject over dinner with a local professor that stated "most college professors can't think critically, much less teach it".

It's b/c they are always right and can claim to be non-partisan b/c the other side is just WRONG/stupid yet they accept everyone (unless of course you disagree with them on anything).

Not really (although they would probably argue that every law school class is a class on critical thinking). We actually had a pretty decent mix at when I was there between liberal and conservative professors. Not shockingly, the conservative professors were more concerned with the logic/analysis of your answer more than the conclusion where the liberals were pretty well known for not giving as many points for conservative thoughts. So.... if you were smart you sucked it up wrote down the liberal nonsense and got your A.

    LMAO memories.

NYT Obama Admin knew IRS was attacking conservative groups before election. Only 2 possible explanations now for Obama's press release this week: #1 He's a liar or #2 he and his administration are the most incompetent organization on the planet.
