There's nothing juvenile or pathetic about it IMO. Well, about revealing the price and console at least.

As for taking a dig, I OU, if MS were to announce Always Online, that would open them up to a lot of shots.

Gamasutra: Inside the PlayStation 4 With Mark Cerny

How much do you want to bet that Sony asked Gamasutra to hold onto this article until Microsoft announced their unveiling.

Guy obviously knows what he's talking about. While I was watching the reveal, he was by far the best part of it. He has a very obvious passion for what he does, so it was a smart move by Sony to allow him to lead the design of it.

I'm kind of bummed they wouldn't allow questions about the UI. At this point, that's my only major concern. If what they showed during the reveal is the main screen that you'll be using most of the time, I'm going to be very disappointed, mainly because it's ugly as hell and looks like a pain in the ass to navigate. They should have just stuck with the XMB and enhanced it.

Definitely going to need Kontrol Freeks again. Seriously, what is so hard about designing a decent grip for the analog sticks? Sony is full on retarded about it and Microsoft isn't too far behind. Obviously it isn't that hard considering KF has it down to a science.

Maybe KF gave them a kick back to save their business? I honestly had zero complaints about any of Sony's controllers. My fingers never slip off the sticks/triggers. However, MS' controller just felt too big for me and I'm so.... used to Sony's controller I cannot play on anything different.

So....not sure if this question has been asked, but for the PS+ members, once PS4 is out, can we download the PS3 games to the PS4? The discs won't be compatible, but I'm assuming the PS3 digital library will?

Unlikely that they'll be compatible at launch. Eventually their streaming service will probably allow them to be played from the PS4 but Sony indicated that probably won't be ready at launch.

That's my understanding as well. I guess I'll be losing a bunch of games and my copy of Atlas Shrugged.

We've heard from other sources that Microsoft is not where they want to be at this point in the pre-launch development of Durango. A reliable source—one who was not part of our reporting about the Respawn game—tells us that Microsoft is as much as six months behind in producing content for the new console, despite an expected late-2013 launch. Another tells us that Microsoft recently cancelled several internal next-gen projects because they were not coming together as hoped. These sources have told us that, comparatively, Sony is in better shape and further along with hardware and software development for PlayStation 4.
