In 2011, Ahmed was the subject of a viral video, which appeared to show him flamboyantly entering the ring, only to be knocked out by his opponent in the first round. Prior to the fight the video shows Ahmed squaring right up to the face of Ashley Sexton; it is Sexton who then knocks out Ahmed in the first round.
