The reality is that I haven't lived in "safe" cities for the last dozen years. It's all about knowing which neighborhoods to avoid. I shouldn't have to go to East STL for any reason. And the suburb I'm going to be working in isn't all that different from where I am now.

Man's arm will become his new penis
British man born without a penis is getting a helping hand from his arm.
Andrew Wardle, 39, will undergo three surgeries over the next year to craft a male sex organ out of a large flap of skin on his forearm, The Sun reported.
Wardle was born with his bladder outside his body, leaving him with just a small fold of skin where his penis would be.
Several operations have corrected his bladder and kidney problems, but doctors have been stumped about how to fix Wardle's missing male member until now, according to the UK's South West News Service.
Wardle hopes to have the first surgery this summer. The 12-hour procedure will take skin, muscle and nerves from his arm to build his appendage, according to The Sun.
The next two operations will connect the tubes in his penis to his uretha and testicles.
While rare, the procedure Wardle will undergo is not unheard of.
A Scottish man underwent a similar set of operations just last month after losing his penis in a car accident, according to the International Business Times.

I swear to God, I'm going to beat the fucking shit out of someone to within an inch of their fucking life. Woke up this morning to one of the windows on my car shot out, cops think it was a BB gun. Whoever the jackass is, they better pray to whatever God they pray to that I never find out who they are, and if I do, pray that the cops get to them before I do.

And yeah, I have insurance, but it's gonna be god knows how fucking long before the window is replaced. The insurance company likes to use some company down in Lima, so it would be tomorrow before getting it scheduled for them to come up and replace the window, and then for them to come up (with a winter storm moving through later today/tonight through tomorrow), it'll probably be Tuesday if I'm lucky before they get here to fix it.
Turns out though, I was the lucky one. It was my rear passenger window that got shot out. My neighbor (the mechanic who I usually take my car to to have worked on) had both driver and passenger windows on his truck shot out. And there was another car with the driver's window shot out. Cops had to make three separate trips to this block of the neighborhood. The same cop who came out for my car was back out here only a matter of minutes later for my neighbor's truck.
While here, the cop was asking, if they find out who it is and are able to get a confession, if I'd want to press charges. Hell yes. If they find out who did it, I'm gonna find out from the cops and DA every single possible charge I can file on these jackasses and file every single one against every damn one of them. Fuck forgiveness.
