I know for show purposes that was never going to happen but IRL if all things were equal up to that point Rick would have ended that conversation before it started.

Too many issues with that location. First, if he shoots the Governor, then Daryl and Hershel have to react quickly to take out the hispanic dude and the nerd to keep themselves alive, otherwise one of them most likely end up dead (most likely Hershel).

Second, they didn't know if it was a trap. Hershel was looking all over the damn place when they first got there in the car, then Rick and Daryl were going around the back way between buildings and stuff to get to the meeting place. For all they knew, the governor had a bunch of guys sitting in the woods waiting to ambush them if something happened to him during the meeting. Who knows.

If I'm in that position, I wait until I have him in the open in battle to take him out, instead of take him out in a situation like that and risk being overrun with his men who might be hiding somewhere nearby just in case I do just that.

A few minutes in and there seems to be a lot of Andrea.
15 minutes in and still more Andrea.
30 minutes and WTF is going on here, more Andrea.

How many times can Andrea be dumber than dirt in one episode?
Could have shot/killed the Governor.
Hides in forest and takes breather.
Runs around in the most open area while being perused.
Runs in creepy building at night.
Did not stick around to make sure Governor dies.
Did not take the Governors truck after escaping (this is my WTF moment of the show).

As a civil rights attorney, I'm not sure she learned how to hot-wire a car. Should she have at least checked the truck for a gun or the keys or something though? Absolutely.

True, keys might not have been in it but the Gov is so egotistical I doubt he took the keys

Also, I guarantee that someone within Governor's own faction kills him. Most likely Tyreese as there's no other reason for him to be on Governor's side (totally different than the comic).

Common courtesy? The thread is full of spoilers, hence the use of the spoiler tag. Seems pretty straight forward to me. For someone not spending a lot of time discussing the show it seems odd for you to concern yourself with it.

Like everything else on this forum, I still read this thread even though I don't give two shits about the show itself anymore. I laugh when you guys talk about how shit the episode is because it just continues to solidify my reasoning for not watching it anymore but I also enjoy just reading discussions from people that I enjoy talking with.

yeah, I only watch it to see how the whole thing ends. Its not ground breaking television, its one of the dumbest shows ever written. But thats what tv's for, amusing yourself with stupid crap half the time. Still waiting for my first favorite dumb show " falling Skies" to come back on

When the season started, I thought it was a sure bet the Governor would die in the finale. As time has gone on, I'm not as certain.

It seems all but guaranteed there will be deaths next week, but the prison group is so small I'd guess only one or two bite the big one.

I think the Governor will survive the season.

Outside of expendable characters in the prison (Beth / Carol), I could see Glen taking a bullet for Maggie or Herschel if they're going to do another suprise kill.

I also see Tyrese and Sasha joining Rick's side in some fashion in the finale.
