No the hitchhiker said it looked like he literally just killed somebody, meaning the guy he creamed with his car. And if he didn't hit him on the head with the hatchet he would have killed the lady too.

OK about the killing of someone not happening I was having trouble following this guy, but if you smack someone 3 times with a hatchet your going to have some blood somewhere and probably be detained for questioning and at the very least not allowed to give a quick news update to a local news reporter??
