I am in need of some cpu advice. My computer is a little over three years old. Specifically it's a Dell 8500xps (Windows 10, i5m 3,10ghz, 2tb storage, 16gb ram, etc). The system itself runs really well and it's great for most games. However, the video card is now starting to show its age (I have a AMD Radeon HD 7500. {1gb 5ddr} ). My system also has a power supply of 460W...

There is a game coming out that my oldest son and I really want to pick up... Planet Coaster.

Official minimum requirements for Planet Coaster alpha:
Windows 7 64bit or newer
Intel Core i5 -2300, AMD FX-4300 or better
8GB Ram
Nvidia GTX 560 / ATI Radeon 7850 Graphics card with 2GB of Graphics Memory or better

So any idea on what card I could pick up for cheap that will meet the needs of this game, not exceed space and power supply and not break the bank???

I'd probably recommend the Nvidia GTX 960. Good card, above entry-level but not top-end that it would break the bank.

I ran a basic calculation of your machine through this (some of it was based off assumptions) and it says with the 960 they'd recommend 358W for your supply so your 460W supply should be good.
