Pittsburgh was 21st in total defense and they'd still be playing if they were healthy. Hell, if Ben, Brown, Bell, Bryant and Pouncey played every game this year they'd probably be playing at home this weekend and would be the favorites to win the Super Bowl.

Point is, defense is not as valuable as it used to be.
As a Saints fan, I can tell you, having something resembling a defense is paramount. Our whole defense was diarrhea water.
