    I was looking for an old picture from the former NU-OU rivalry to razz bdoughty with in the Week 13 thread and came across this 1981 Nebraska Football schedule poster:



    I don't think a school would even think of putting out something like this nowadays given how sensitive some people are about firearms (even those that shoot footballs).

    And yes, that is Tom Osborne in the Husker stagecoach shooting at the Oklahoma player.

    They don't make them like they used to.

    I never would have guessed that Tom Osbourne would be on a poster shooting a gun. A Sooner player on the other hand... Prophetic would be an understatement.

    Personally, I'd rather the Big 8 never allowed those four SWC remnants to join in. Obviously nowadays a larger conference would have been a necessity, but they let too many rules changes occur when Texas, A&M, Tech, and Baylor joined.
