That's why I was confused and had to go up to read what CDJ posted. My initial thinking was is this just for gaming? Why would someone need a projector solely for that.

Then read the article and it mentions anything about gaming with it

Rumored content for PS4 firmware 3.0:

According to Pocket News, a select number of PS4 users are testing PS4 firmware 3.0 in Sony Japan’s beta initiative, and some of the additions include being able to stream directly to YouTube, an improved messaging system, and even a “Now Playing| feature added to the PS4 Friends section.

Here’s the full details as translated by NeoGAF member crinale:

    • “Event” menu is added that allows you to find events related to PlayStation, join them and watch them.
    • “Community” is added to “friend” menu that allows you to make new community or join existing ones.
    • “Now Playing” is added to “friend”, “community”, “message” and profile screen that allows you to display games members are currently playing. You can request to join their games or request to broadcast the game.
    • “Message” function has been improved that it displays “now playing” and allows you to start party easily. You can add groups to your favorite list.
    • You can broadcast via YouTube.
    • You can upload short (10 sec) game clips to Twitter.
    • In addition to that, the beta also touches on a “sub account” feature that can be created for kids, which will add parental controls and the like.

Excellent commercial... I love Star Wars but I really would not want a big Darth Vader picture on my console so that everyone in the living room can see it. I do like the controller though.

Aww yeah, Flaming Toast does great work. Got my DS4 lightbar decals from them. I may look at getting that and "spicing up" my plain old PS4.

I wish someone would do large online tournaments for fake "bracelets" like WSOP on 360 failed to do.

    But $19.99??? Ouch.

Yeah that would be nice but if we had a group of 8 guys a semi-regular TGT Poker night would be nice.

That price is ridiculous though, especially when they have credit add-ons you can buy. This should have been free to play.

    That said, I'm still tempted.

How was the game JB? May purchase it in a month or so once the wife goes back to work and its just me and kiddo - I can just move the momaroo upstairs to the gaming room.

Played in a cash game for about an hour last night, and the game's pace is really good. That was a problem with some poker games in the past, it would just take forever to play a hand. I was smoking fools too, I started the cash game with $1000 and ended with about $4500. The cash game is a mixture of bots and real people unless there are enough real people to fill the table, so that's nice.

The only thing I'm disappointed in is that Pure Pool had a , this game is $20 and doesn't have one. I was hoping to have a bunch of goals and such to chase to get trophies to make it more interesting.

It's probably better suited to be a $10 title, but I wanted to play it, and the company making the game is good, and so far they have delivered with a good poker sim. Still wish some developer could figure out an online multi-table tournament, but at least you can make private tournaments for your buddies, and the fact that you can stream it too makes it a little more interesting.

Strange thing about playstation plus. So I get an email yesterday saying my PS+ has expired and I've lost my games I've downloaded for free in the last year. It tells me to keep this from happening to renew my membership prior to it expiring.

The sad thing is this is the only email I've gotten from them....just a heads up to anyone else, make sure you check your expiration date. I'll renew, just wish they would have given me a heads up email.

Oh well, live and learn I guess.

EDIT: ok, good news, I paid for 1 more year of PS+ and now all of my downloaded games work again.
