    Spoiler: show
I thought that Tyrese and Rick had more of a story in the comics. I haven't read them yet, but based on what some people said, he seemed to have a bigger role. That was very odd that he got off'd.

Yeah iirc he was in the comics from the beginning and was a pretty big role. While I'm glad they are not just duplicating the comics, like CDJ said I was disappointed. Especially with they way ended it for him

It wasn't a great episode but something of significance happened.

I must be getting picky, but I didn't care much for this episode either. Maybe things will pick up starting next week when the new character (threat?) gets introduced.

I don't think it's just you. There has definitely been a switch in the writing and directing. Almost to me it's gone down hill after they left the prison. The Tornado scene was probably the most ridiculous moment on the show hands down.

This new threat should be interesting and how in the world does he know Rick?

Definitely interesting questions for the new guy. He sure is pretty clean cut compared to the gang.

I wasn't as critical on the show as you guys were, but oh well. I thought it did a good job to show the group is really struggling mentally and physically. Maybe the tornado or storm scene was over the top, but it was a pretty cool scene seeing the whole group band together to show they want to live and hold off the herd.

Following Maggie's statement(s) on losing her faith, I wonder if the tornado scene was designed to either a) show a miracle that helped save them or b) show that working together they can survive almost anything.

Either way, visually it was a cool scene but they didn't do a good job of tying it to either point. Living in an area that has strong tornadoes, I laughed at how many trees uprooted but that old barn stood strong. Not a big deal overall I suppose, but it only feeds into my sneaking suspicion that the show lacks any idea of a potential end-game or even coherent story development. I enjoy watching TWD, but it's changed a lot (especially lately) and overall I'd say a lot isn't for the better. Though, I'm holding out hope for the rest of this season to help correct the ship.

I assumed at first that the water was possibly a gift from Morgan, but maybe this guy is from Morgan's group - either with him at one time or the one he was pursuing (looking for markings on the trees). If he is from the comics, I hope they use some of the plot from the comics, not what they did with Tyreese.

Is Morgan knowingly tailing them? I was always under the assumption he was and that is where the one dude is from. Only Carl and Rick know Morgan, so he probably figured him going would do just as good as the other guy that showed up and is more personable. But being more personable i.e. Gareth means you're probably up to something at this point in time in the world.
    The dude abides.

Caught up on the missed episodes last night...

    Spoiler: show
Wasn't a big fan of the first episode and really disappointed in how they killed off Tyrese as I thought he was the character with the most potential. Personally I would have rather seen the demise of Glenn as I just don't like how his character has developed over the course of the series. I do however like when the show is "on the road" as it keeps things interesting. I was NOT a fan of the prison so it's good to see them on their journey again.

Best episode since the mid-season break (not saying much), but it seems like the episodes have been pretty slow in advancing the story. Hopefully things keep progressing next week.

I actually do. Too bad for them that Rick is about to take it over like a boss.

    I don't trust them either

The recording sessions I believe are to find their weaknesses and play them on one another I believe.

Also weird how a few days in and like Rick said they are giving power to someone they don't really know. Either people don't know about the place or they are hiding a group of people that protect the place. Otherwise difficult to believe that place not being over ran yet.

Even Woodbury(?) had an army to protect it.

I LOVED how Carol played all goodie goodie and inept so that if shit hits the fan, she'll never be suspected of being a badass.

At first, I was like, WTF when she was talking about how she was a den mother who washed clothes and loved her ex-husband, Ed, but that it clicked that she was underselling herself intentionally. Everyone is gonna watch Rick, Daryl, Michonne, Abraham, and probably Carl and Glen but when Carol starts making people eat her bullets, they'll be none the wiser.
