Look, I just wanted something that would please us and annoy you. Kryptonite was obviously a bad term to use. Not a comic book guy and I just think of it as something that hurts Superman. Something Superman does not want to be near. Hence the women and no socks. Sure I could post what you want to see. Underage boys wearing tube socks but that would be counter-intuitive.

Well, St. Louis got eliminated by San Francisco. I guess those "protestors" in Ferguson, Missouri didn't deserve having St. Louis make the World Series in the eyes of the almighty script writer. I guess sockboy better start thinking up some new bullshit excuse.
And with all these claims of "hey, look at how Kansas City just turned around after the riots", I'm guessing sockboy hasn't looked at a map recently. Kansas City and Ferguson are nowhere near each other. I doubt the people of Ferguson even give a fuck about Kansas City, most of them are probably St. Louis fans, Ferguson being a suburb of the Greater St. Louis metropolitan area and all. Christ, I live 25 miles closer to Chicago (living in NW Ohio) than Kansas City is to Ferguson, Missouri.
So for a team that has been to the NLCS for four straight years, great set up by that script writer to have St. Louis make the NLCS three straight years then set up this whole white cop shooting a black guy thing so St. Louis making the NLCS a fourth straight year would make for great storylines. Too bad that dumbass fucked up the script and had St. Louis get their asses handed to them by San Francisco. Not having St. Louis win the World Series really ruined that beautiful storybook ending script.
So I guess if having Kansas City, a city that is 240 miles away from Ferguson (an entire state between the two) make the playoffs and sweep their way to the World Series was some magical scripted event due to the riots back in August, I guess that means Missouri and Illinois will be playing in the college football national title game. And that must mean the Cubs and White Sox should have both made the ALCS and NLCS instead of the Orioles and Giants. And that must mean it'll be the Rams facing the Bears in the NFC title game while Kansas City will play either Indianapolis or Tennessee in the AFC title game. I mean, hey, all of those teams are within a state or two of Ferguson, Missouri. Close enough! Right?

The script SHOULD have been KC vs. St. Louis as a rivalry series was the most interesting match-up because I guess the script writers wanted to continue the current trend of the Giants winning every other year.
Silly fools the script knows there is going to be no more st. louis after the upcoming riots so why bother giving the cardinals another world series appearance.
because they helped KC win during the last month after the riots happened and the A's lose so the one game playoff with extra innings was home in KC. The same week the Chiefs blowout the Pats the night before. Sedate the Masses.
but notice all the major market teams that still made the playoffs. The Cards didn't go all the way but still made it to the last round = purpose served. a small market team is in while serving the purpose of sedating a community. The rest of the country that doesn't care still gets a major market popular team in the Series.
its fascinating that it has to be really childish and obvious for you to think its manipulated. The script SHOULD have been KC vs. St. Louis as a rivalry series was the most interesting match-up because I guess the script writers wanted to continue the current trend of the Giants winning every other year.
Yet even when it is you still cant figure it out.
Archie Manning is on the selection committee and the ncaa has a week 6 where all the top schools fall yet both Mississippi schools, Ol' Miss and Mississippi State are undefeated and ranked 1 and 3. These schools haven't been that relevant since the 60s or there abouts but now all the sudden they are relevant at the same time ?
but of course you think its all a fantastic coincidence.......?
the Kickoff classic game this year at the beginning of the college season had Ole Miss in it.....oh, what a surprise they are this year, huh ?
its still in the same State. I'm glad Arkansas State could play it's role in Hugh Freeze's rise to Ole Miss which was obviously scripted...
In 2010, a perennial 6 win coach (Steve Roberts) hires a recently fired OC from Memphis (Clay Helton). Weeks later, Helton is hired away to USC to join Lane Kiffin's staff at USC so Arkansas State turns to their second choice, Hugh Freeze, who just had been hired at San Jose State. Freeze was home sick in California so he jumped at the opportunity to return to the midsouth.
After another poor year (4-8), Roberts is fired and fan outcry forces the AD to hire Freeze as the full time head coach. In his first (and only) year as HC at Arkansas State, Freeze goes 10-2 during the regular season while Houston Nutt drives yet another team into the ground going 2-10 at Ole Miss. Nutt is fired and after much debate, Freeze is hired at Ole Miss.
In his first two years, Freeze shows promise going 7-6 and 8-5 respectively before ultimately being able to build his team into the 6-0 #3 team in the nation.
All of that was orchestrated because Archie Manning was going to be on the selection committee? I realize Jimmy Sexton is very manipulative... but do you really think he coordinated all of that to happen 4 years in advance just so that Ole Miss could be ranked at the same time that Archie Manning is on the selection committee?

LOLOLOLOLOL
another nail in the Seattle slide I predicted before the season began. What a dang coincidence huh ?
You have officially reached the bottom of the barrel. Why on earth would Archie Manning want Miss St to be successful? That is their rival. You do not wish success on your rival. I do not want to see Texas or Oklahoma St win games. What about Baylor? How do you explain their continued success? Why do I keep replying to this?
We may not be able to contain the Ebola virus but we can contain stupid. I bring to the floor we vote to end this thread and Ram's continued ramblings about how all these sports are fixed.
