I'm with ya, Jaymo.
NCAA was an every year purchase for me. I think the only one that I didn't purchase was 2002, and that was a fluke combination of not owning a PS2 yet and having a roommate with both PS2 and NCAA 02. I didn't own all of the Bill Walsh games on Sega, but I did get everything from the first PS1 game through NCAA 14, minus the one.
There are some other games that I like, but I bought a PS2 to play NCAA. I bought a PS3 to play NCAA. If not for NCAA, I might have given up console gaming by now.
On the other hand, the series shutting down has changed the way I play games. I play a lot more titles now and I approach them a little differently. I don't feel like I'm in a time crunch to get my money's worth before NCAA comes out. And I don't feel like I'm in a rush to get my money's worth out of NCAA 14 either.
I wish there was a new NCAA coming out but, for now, I'm enjoying catching up with the rest of the console gaming world. I have FIFA on PS4; first FIFA game I have owned since PS1 or maybe even Genesis. I have NBA Live for the first time since Genesis (no season mode, playoffs and exhibition games only). I have my first 2k sports game ever in NBA 2k15. I have my first Lego game. I have a Need For Speed game for the first time ever and maybe the first one I've even played since the one that a friend had on Commodore 64

. I'm spending crazy time playing both of the PS4 pinball games and Resogun.
And I'm also still playing NCAA 14.
Now I wish I could go home and play video games.
