Well trying to load up the game and there is just a semi invisible ball at the bottom left with a down arrow flashing repeatedly?

Yes, was just going to post a picture of it.

If you are having problems I am having OS user says to delete the EA app and try again. I guess I'll give that a shot.

Delete the app, but not the full game download and that will work?
