So with the new patch out I need thoughts...what needs to change in the sliders.
I say break tackle needs looked at but that was before the patch as well.
I know Jeff has had issues with QB accuracy and I continue to see them as well. Only issue is that it's sporadic. I want to chalk it up to the QB being rattled but it happens in games I'm winning and I have a senior QB with very good ratings.
It sucks that I have a contract goal of "sign all needed positions during each regular season", and one of my positions is QB... I signed two ATHs that will play QB yet neither do/will count towards that need. I targeted generic QB late hoping to sign & cut him (no one else was even talking to him) but doesn't look like I'll get him during the regular season![]()
I know you have had issues E, and heard of Jeff's issues but then see NYkia's completing almost 75% of his passes. I'm sitting at 58% right now for Bennett which for me is probably close to what I should be.
Here are the numbers in passing (just users):

I can't explain why Barkley is so far off target at times, but just based of this I don't think we need to bump up accuracy. Those numbers look pretty good in my opinion.
The break tackles, like we were discussing last night I had issues early on with the NCAA 13 as a whole with that but since I've set Big Hits and Strip to conservative it has helped with the broken tackles for myself. I would buy into that being bumped down just a bit, but not till after this season for any adjustments since we are right there currently.
Damn that's ugly, it was nicer before I hit send![]()
I have continued to have issues with broken tackles, even setting "big hit" to conservative. The only user I really had a problem against was Jeff, which is funny because he had one of the smaller backs I have went against.Marshall for Georgia was insane to try and tackle, as he had 6 recorded broken tackles but probably another 10 that it did not count and he is a Freshman rated like 81 and considered a "speed" back.
QB accuracy is all about the type of routes as I think Kia and I both use more of a quick passing game and would help with completion %'s. I will say that this year has been like last in that my guys simply will not catch the ball on defense. I cannot force turnovers because of this, and it is really starting to piss me off!I can hit stick the HB all game, and he almost never fumbles the ball. I have only forced 2 fumbles with Nico Johnson, but have been involved in almost 150 tackles, including almost 40 for a loss, many right after the HB gets the ball.
Yeah I agree Ryby. I set it to conservative as well and most of the time it's the cpu missing the tackle.
I'll say this, I've been working on sliders all season long but didn't want to implement them until next season/after the patch came out.
I've had the tackling problem all season. Opposing RBs rushing for over 200-300 yards almost every other game.
Not to keep harping on E, but it does seem that the drastic swaying of Job Security has been toned down this year, and coaches gain/lose job security at a much more tempered rate.
To that end, watching E's contract is going to be very interesting. As far as I can guess, he's practically guaranteed to have the following failed goal penalties:
1 x
3 x
1 x
He may also pass one(though I actually think that's a bug
)
So that's 16 < total. He's at 55% right now, so it's going to be very interesting to see if he survives. It's also a four year contract. Will be interesting to see if that seems to influence his retention at all.

Broken tackles still happen at a pretty good clip.
I'm the wrong guy to speak to as far as QB accuracy since most of the passes I throw are of the West Coast/Air Raid variety.
I was puzzled as to why Barkley was so off target, as you'll hear in my commentary.
Rees has a 92 accuracy and although he throws a clunker here and there, he's pretty steady..

Tex, I'm not sure if the rosters we're using are to blame, or the default rosters ... but man, I am sorry with how screwed you got with the OSU rosters. They are ... rather pathetically wrong (for such a major program).

E survives (32%) as does Bob Stoops (15%). Very interesting. So that's 16 < total. He's at 55% right now, so it's going to be very interesting to see if he survives. It's also a four year contract. Will be interesting to see if that seems to influence his retention at all.
