- Some speculation that Bowling Green will have a new white helmet this season as well.

- Close-up look at A&Ms new jerseys. The beveling is interesting considering a lot of A&M fans hate the beveled logo, but now adidas uses it on the uniform numbers.

That may be a yes on BG. If it was just plain white helmets, maybe. But if they went to the trouble to put the stripes on the helmets, then that sort of semi-confirms it in my mind. Putting stripes on that many helmets for what would end up being nothing more than practice helmets for the defense (or offense) to wear would be a waste of time in my opinion.

Agreed, Smooth. Though normally you're not going to wear game helmets in practice, ever. So the fact that they have a stripe on the practice helmets at all is weird to me.

Not sure if things have changed but when I was at Southern Miss and UL-Lafayette, game helmets were worn at practice. They just got shined up the day before the game.
